Partick Thistle π‘π΄ Vs Stranraer π΅βͺοΈ

Tickets on sale via Fanbase - from Β£15 -Β£5. Season ticket not valid. Stranraer had a great results vs Ross County which should be a good result for us as long as we do the job on Tuesday. The rumour mill has gone quiet on new signings or trialists but you never know. A pretty fluid performance in the first-half vs Edinburgh City should have the lads high on confidence so hoping for another entertaining win. Let's go β€οΈ π

Might be the way we go, him and Watt swapping roles. Hard to defend especially with the way we are playing. Falkirk did pretty well with it last season too...

I think ot was offside at the start and not necessarily Aidan that was offside. Tight call either way. Good that the lads still took the chances.
-
They were on Jagzone and looked like the linesman got the decisions correct and certainly not enough to overturn the decisions as no virtual assistance.

If only the club sold the club on this basis. You need a bit of bravado at this stage of the season to get sales of season tickets, strips and hospitality over the line.
-
I'll pledge Β£20 - it'll need to be end of month for payment, if that's okay?

No, but I think you need purchase a ticket on Fanbase. Check Thistle website, they should confirm.

Tsoanelo Letsosa midfield trialist. Moore scored a good goal and had one ruled out for offside. Seemed to have a good game. Final score 4-1: Moore (trialist), Chalmers, Crawford and Fitzpatrick

I thought i read payments received from Academy player transactions went towards the Academy? Not sure if this is still the case? I'd hope a part would anyway to move that facit of the club towards sustainability or even a positive on the balance street.

I think Logan has deserved his offer. Here's hoping everything works out.

Anyone got any idea where the 'closed door' friendly vs Hamilton will be played? I'd assume Petershill as Garscube is no longer used for training.

I wish they would hurry up... Jk, no jk

I think he could be the answer tho. Strong, can break the lives Vlad the Impaling Jag?

Stanway, Campbell and Crawford were awful in the first-half. Tbf they were more central but The Caley just cut through is at ease.

Diack was quite distressed he won't be back soon. Dislocated shoulder by the looks of things. I thought the #9 was okay. He received no service thanks to the first-half setup where the doughnut in midfield was prevalent in midfield cedeing possession and putting pressure on the defence. A couple of switched turned things around. Ditching Harkness, Campbell and pushing Luke and Ben forwards. It must have been a decent half-time talk too as the first-half performance was pitiful, despite only being a preseason friendly. Kobei Moore did okay, knew what runs to make and he was involved in the goals in the second-half. Cammy Logan looks like he deserves a contract. Played well in both games and comfortable in midfield and right wing back. Everyone got a runout apart from Cameron the reserve keeper. It was a game of two halves but it was reassuring to see the manager was flexible with the formation and trying players in different positions. Luke McBeth in defence, had a first-half shitemare but was solid in the screener role secind-half and let Stanway do what he does best. Making runs wither side of the penalty arc. Chalmers did some flashy runs in first-half but really made an impact in the second-half. Not sure if agree with previous comments about Laeless and Falconhoof. Didn't do much to threatening whatsoever. Still, another game under the belts. We need at least four or five additions. Logan may be one. Moore may get a shout due to Diack's injury. Still need a #6 unless McBeth is moved there then we would need centre-back cover. Need a number#8 & #9 and probably another full-back. Interested to see what is done before our next game. Still a lot of work to be done. Credit to the manager though. He switched from an awful 45 minute performance into a promising one.

Let the rumours start on the #9 π

π Dunfermline Athletic and Partick Thistle are both keen on Louis Moult. The Championship pair have both declared an interest in the 33-year-old. Moult is a free agent after he left Dundee United in the summer. Pars boss Neil Lennon is keen to add more of a cutting edge to his frontline and wants to take Moult to East End Park. Rivals Thistle are also interested with boss Mark Wilson looking for somebody to replace Brian Grahamβs goals. Moult also has options back in England but would return north for the right option
-
Don't fancy McBeth in midfield could he be a right-back in a four at the back? Three at the back seems a possibility but struggling to be confident who can play in the middle of the park. Plenty of options in attacking three positions. Up front Diack by default. Still a lot of important work to be done as I don't think we have an effective or even predictable starting eleven yet.

You don't know much about Jamie...
