I'm sure that's true: 4 lego stands with big gaps at the corners doesn't make for any kind of atmosphere other than a morgue-like one. Almondvale could have been a superb little stadium, if the numpties had given it a roof that covered all of the seats, rather than just about half of the rows. I'd actually be quite happy to see a "New Firhill" along those lines.

This is the first time I've checked the Herald stats page. Also, by far our most frequent result in the last 20 matches has been.......... 0-0.

Last night I watched Burniston. About 10% was amusing, but the rest was about the level you'd expect from a teenagers' school project where the aim was to try to be "funny". Edited to add: they have problems knowing when to move on from a "joke"; they don't half try to keep things going for as long as possible, which is too long.

That's not a bad start for a squad. Based on Saturday's performance I think that Tommy Steward would be an excellent addition as an attacking midfielder. I also think that Paul Cairney should be retained.

Something like a twice-per-season super-draw might be interesting. In addition to the top cash prize, select 5 or 10 tickets from every match and put them into a bumper draw. That would help keep the interest going for those of us who win f*ck all anyway.
