  1. Stupid question. It could be asked of every football fan in Scotland, and in fact probably everybody in Scotland.
  2. Agreed. Dorrans and Santala were also excellent for us, and I certainly have no problems with Balatoni's effort this season (or McGowan's when he was here). But we have had a couple of total failures too; I don't care to mention their names.
  3. He's just signed a new contract with Stoke City that will take him until 2014. Well done to him!
  4. Suspicious Minds. Oops, wrong thread.
  5. We'll look out for you. Presumably you'll be somewhere around the bing rather than in the JH stand.
  6. Thanks for that info. In terms of results, a distinctly average record, it must be said. If those results were broken down into home and away then I think the latter would be truly shocking. His best legacy is the youth set-up; on-field legacy, apart from maybe the draw at the hunnery, is nothing to remember with great fondness.
  7. Err, don't know the best way to put this, Mr. B, but it's usually fatal. And if you're lucky enough to survive, the blindness is usually permanent. But try and make it along anyway!
  8. I'd like to see Jackie McNamara bring back Gerry Collins as an assistant. Brilliant for Firhill: Jackie-Collins ! They'd re-write the (form) books!
  9. From ptfc.co.uk: Rowson misses tomorrow's game because of Tuesday's sending off, and misses out at Dundee for accumulating too many bookings. He's one player that at least tries to lift the team in the middle of the park when things aren't going well. So no chance of Cairney being dropped; this might help him to start focusing more. Who else will go into midfield? Presumably Campbell will keep his place, so that leaves one more, and it needs to be somebody that can tackle, so that rules Sid out.
  10. C'mon now, Don't be Cruel. Edited to add: If Lennon was smart he'd just have put the parcel back in a postbox with "Return to Sender" clearly written on it.
  11. Good luck with it. Before folk start on it, it might be a good idea to correct the typo throughout: it's "passenger".
  12. I wonder if in hell they'll be flaming the fans of bigotry?
  13. What a player Ryan Giggs was, and still is!
  14. That's nice of them........ I'll be there.
  15. Nice big smile on my face now. And that's in spite of seeing the likes of Darren Brady, Grant Murray......
  16. I certainly seems that there was no "bust up" within the club. I reckon McCall's been quietly told by somebody at another club that there's very likely a job that he'd be the favourite to land in a couple of weeks.
  17. I've still got (and use) a few of those items!
  18. It always irks me that the unionist parties require their father-figures from London to come to Scotland to run the show before the election takes place. Or at least to give the impression of running the show. In other words, yes, have your wee election, but don't forget that we in London are the ones that will decide what goes on in the Scotland, not you. And the unionist party "leaders" in Scotland of course lick the *rses of their London leaders, hoping for a peerage one day.
  19. There's one monarchy I like: Monarchy the Glen. http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://images.worldgallery.co.uk/i/prints/rw/lg/1/0/Sir-Edwin-Henry--Landseer-Monarch-of-the-Glen-102979.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.worldgallery.co.uk/art-print/Monarch-of-the-Glen-102979.html&usg=__mbkdQhcKhtTruzLtW0KYqueEM-E=&h=400&w=399&sz=23&hl=en&start=1&sig2=oi5vqg9NX4AJFRu4B7nTcw&zoom=1&itbs=1&tbnid=A3WyVEVm2cMshM:&tbnh=124&tbnw=124&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dmonarch%2Bof%2Bthe%2Bglen%26hl%3Den%26gbv%3D2%26tbm%3Disch&ei=h_WvTcmfONSIhQf80J2IBw
  20. For me the biggest mystery still surrounds McCall's resignation if it was "not football related". Let's wait and see.
  21. The look on the two guys' faces on this one is priceless:
  22. Good point. I seem to remember a very late Buchanan goal against Dunfermline in a midweek (Cup?) match a couple of years ago, but the general "goal-down-match-lost" mentality has predominated at Firhill for too long. We need dig and persistence.
