Great atmospheric photies! I had no idea that Frank Bruno was now playing for Cowdenbeath.

Our away record since McCall has been in charge has been truly abysmal. I used to look forward to following Thistle everywhere, but these days I'm much less likely to make the effort, always fearing a total let-down. Last night was another example.

Not looking likely, it has to be said. I'm offski; it'll be Teletext for me to get the final result later.

Early days yet, but it's starting to look like one of those nights when the officials are going to give us zilch.

Met an Aussie here in Kyoto last week, who knew a surprising amount about Thistle due to our Aussie ex-players. He told me that Madaschi had really wanted to be included in the squad for the recent Asian Cup, but got left out in the end. He must be coming towards the end of his career now, I'd have thought. Also said that Simon Storey is now back in Oz.
