It has been mentioned that we have lost good players since promotion and not replaced like for like. So downsizing on quality may be a factor. But I think a big factor is the fact we don't compete/ challenge in this league. Fans like a winning team or certainly one that is playing for something other than survival. St Mirren have had a bounce in season tickets this year as the fans expect to challenge, getting skelpt every other week turns fans away. Someone mentioned in the Celtic thread that they would rather play St Mirren, Falkirk etc rather than Celtic and I think many feel the same. If we were in a play off, firhill would be full.
