Lindau
Nice foto in the Sunday Mail of Jim Black tackling Ronnie Glavin in a game against Hibs in 1972 at a packed out Firhill....Ah those were the days!!
stillresigned
God, I looked at these pictures but never noticed the Peterhead celebrations behind them. We were definitely at the edge of the abyss that day, but Jags ALWAYS take you to the edge. My thoughts exactly, when you think about it it kinda puts this season in perspective. If we hadn't come up that day God alone knows what our fate may have been.
lady-isobel-barnett
If we hadn't come up that day God alone knows what our fate may have been. We finished 13 points behind Morton that season. Even with Rae bankrolling them they only won the league by 8 points the following season. We wouldn't have been at the races. Would have been virtually a one man team (Roberts). Tho' on the bright side we'd have been able to hold on to the likes of Stevie Nicholas

Morfin
Was that on the match chat thread on the old ptfc.net? The range and depths of emotions throughout that thread were incredible. Yes at the end went from multiple "well we still love you Thistle" to sudden "I cant believe it we scored" type things, I just about had a heart attack.
