Good music being played at Firhill? The very thought is outrageous Now away with you and no more of this fanciful nonsense

The Devil's Point
What about this one......... "Take me out to the ball game, Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack, I don't care if I never get back, Let me root, root, root for (the home team), If they don't win it's a shame. For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out, At the old ball game."

Yellow & Redneck
I absolutely hate that clichéd classical piece of music that we use when we run onto the pitch. You know, the X-Factor theme song etc etc. For me we need to go back to Blur - WooHoo (Song 2) Nothing better than taking the pitch to that! Or what about Thin Lizzy - Boys are Back In Town Also we need more Thistle songs played before the game, whatever happened to Thistle Do? I still play that on a daily basis on my iPod! ...Thats just my two cents Edited May 19, 2010 by Yellow & Redneck

Thistle Do is one of the most cringeworthy, embarassing songs I've ever had the misfortune to hear.

ETC ETC
yoda-jag
How about Metallica's Enter Sandman? It's got a great long intro, that builds and builds - then about the 58 seconds mark the song 'explodes' into life that could be the point the players run out onto the pitch, then fade out 20 seconds later when singing starts? Or or ok iv'e gone for half of and justice...but for an album that builds and builds this is one of the best and the bass is muted too far as well and it still is heavy as.....my ex if you wanna hear it with the bass enhanced check out Back on topic i'm with the OP thunderstruck as it was done before (looped) was awsome...what a great riff Edited May 19, 2010 by gee
Chicofan
it should be "this is the one" the stone roses A belter of a track...Old Trafford is deafening when this comes on as Man Utd run out I would even make the effort to get in for k.o if this was our tune! uberteeb
How about "On a Ragga Tip" by SL2, get the JH dancing around like crazy as the team come out, free glowsticks on entry and £2 off entry for anyone in bright purple/pink shellsuits. Get the food stall to sell some decent early 90's sweeties.
Mediocre Pundit
It should be "Follow Thistle" if only we could get the entire crowd singing it, and then the team come out as it cuts to the commentary bit.

I have heard the bass enhanced version of all tracks from the And Justice For All release - under the title And Justice For Jason - assume you have also heard this? I proposed Metallica at post 3 on the thread but chickened out and edited it. Obviously lost my head for a moment there. We all have our weak moments of doubt. Learn from this you must. Guest Argus
How about, we don't have a PA system (except in an emergency) and we get the announcer away to? Then I could at least talk to people around me without having to shout and my ears wouldn't bleed at some of the shite that gets played. Lance Gilmour
It should be "Follow Thistle" if only we could get the entire crowd singing it, and then the team come out as it cuts to the commentary bit. That's exactly what I'd like to do! I was at Rugby park for their game with Falkirk, and they got the whole crowd singing (admittedly to the dire Paper Roses) but it does help the atmosphere a lot. The big "if" is getting everyone to singalong...will be pondering this over the summer
