Even the manager says it stinks. "Manager Dave Hockaday said the smell was "a little bit lively, but the pitch is looking magnificent"." Jaggernaut
There are actually some good ideas in there. With the massive roof surfaces on top of all the stands I'd imagine that a decent amount of solar energy could be captured. Don't the club also own the land between the stadium and the nolly? If so, get a wind turbine or two up there!
Members Willjag
I mentioned the wind turbine idea before. I think planning permission would be the stumbling block there.

MWM
Their chairman is a complete attention seeking weirdo. Bans meat from the grounds now this?
eighthoursbehind
A football club has begun spreading cow manure at its ground to create what it believes will be the first organic pitch. Way way back in my schooldays, our playing fields at Loretto in Bishopbriggs were leased to a farmer for his cows. So there was possibly the first organic pitch. I played in goal and it was no fun diving on those pitches.
