lady-isobel-barnett
Hopefully we can keep this going again like last year. Q/Name thirteen folk who have either managed or played for the Jags who have also either managed a team or played for a team in a major European final? (There may well be more and there's a fourteenth I excluded as a bit tentative)

lady-isobel-barnett
Billy Thompson That's number nine. Don't think Niven or Jackson played in a Euro final

Winter of '63
It's a good question! I think Willie Wallace played for us without making any impression. Not sure that Billy Ritchie played in a Euro Final - Norrie Martin & Peter McCloy were Rangers keepers in the finals in 1967 & 1972. lady-isobel-barnett
Dougie Bell, Terry Butcher. Bell wrong and Butcher was the tentative one (No 14)

Ritchie played in Cup Winners final early 60s. Butcher played for Ipswich in a final circa 1980

lady-isobel-barnett
Just wiki'd Wallace. He was on our books for a week presumably as a trialist. Think I'll exclude him.

I did say he didn't make much of an impression! I didn't realise Rangers had reached a Euro Final in 1960/61 - googled this and would add Harold Davis who I would never have got otherwise. potty trained
I take it Peter marinello's not on the list as he didn't play in arsenals European final at the start of the 70s.
