Interesting list.

Graham Dorrans

Andy Wilkinson

Thanks. My brain must not have been in gear on a wet Sunday afternoon.

Wilkinson seems to be out of favour with Mark Hughes at Stoke. Steve Clarke told Dorrans that he could leave last season.

BTW, Barry Smith is now a coach at Ross County.

Steven "The Championship" Lennon now plays for Sandnes Ulf in Norway in the country's top league.

Craig Sives left Shamrock Rovers this year to join Hume City in Australia's Victorian Premier league.

Mark McChrystal - Bristol Rovers

We're always being told how even at Conference level we can't compete on wages. Here's a guy that arguably would be in many folks "Worst Jags Team of the Decade" no doubt earning money most clubs in our division couldn't afford.

And don't forget, tho' not ours,, the great Lucas Akins playing for Stevenage in Div 1. Quite frightening knowing we couldn't afford to sign him!

^ Mark's on the list.

I'm staggered that Akins in playing in League One. Thanks for that one!

ETA - It's strange how several former Jags can end up at one club, e.g. Alloa, Airdrie and now Stenhousemuir.

Even stranger as those three clubs play on, and I assume train on, plastic pitches not supposed to suit guys nearing retirement.

btw I imagine there's more than a few players we've had on loan not on your list. Either too painful or unmemorable to mention..

Steven Campbell now with East Fife, I think.

I used to dread when the Bunnet signed or brought in on loan a defender that "could play anywhere across the back four". Soon realised that was a Dick Campbell euphemism for "he's pretty useless". (John Robertson of course being an exception to prove the rule)

That's supposed to be the role of Jordan McMillan in the current squad.

Didn't the Bunnet sign Scott Boyd? IIRC McCall punted him after playing him at right-back. He was a decent central defender as he has done well at County.

ETA - does anyone know where Jamie Adams is playing? He seems to be a free agent.

David Barron (St Mirren) and Chris Smith (Stirling Albion) both came through our youth systems but I don't think either played in the first-team. I'm 99.99% sure Jamie Barclay (Clyde) was loaned to us from Falkirk about 4/5 years ago and was on the bench away to Queen of the South.
