  1. Sounds like you're just too tight to buy a ticket TBH.
  2. Archie will be setting out to win the game, we can be sure of that. Don't forget we rested a few players ourselves on Wednesday night, so I would hope the likes of Doolan, Erskine and Dumbuya will feel the benefit of that. I think a game like this comes down to who wants it more, us or them. They certainly are fighting for their lives just now and will be more than up for this game. We need to make sure that we match that. I think we would all agree that we have more quality in our team than they have this season, so as long as we show the right attitude we should beat them, barring some sort of disaster like an early red card.
  3. You'll be able to listen again on the sportsound podcast. He came across very well. Spoke about how the team is doing and said they always felt they were good enough to be top 6 even when we were bottom of the league. Also spoke about his career and how he ended up in Scotland. Would recommend listening to the podcast.
  4. I would rather pay the money directly to the club and not have to sit through any adverts. The amount you actually make from these adverts is paltry and your videos need to be getting millions of views to make it worthwhile. I am sure the club looked in to this and decided that jagszone was by far the better option.
  5. That would be completely self defeating when we are trying to make money from jagzone. Producing that content costs money at the end of the day. Man City are massive club that can easily afford to produce it for free, so you can't compare them to us. Jagzone currently does everything you just mentioned. The content is a good and I'm happy to pay for it.
  6. I'm all for respecting other peoples opinions but only if they can substantiate that opinion with a cohesive argument to back it up. The problem with so many on here is that they are unable to do so and as such deserve to be ridiculed and ignored appropriately. Sabbath is someone who is determined to slag off the players and management even when we are sitting in our highest league position in 35 years. How can you argue that his opinion should be respected?
  7. If we play anywhere near as good as we did in the 2nd half last night we will simply blow them away. I very much hope that all jags fans who can be there make sure that they attend on Saturday because this team will not be around forever
  8. A tremendous 2nd half performance. We were really up against it first half and I think everyone realised there was no way we could go another 45 minutes of that kind of pressure, Archie said so himself on the radio after the game. 2nd half I thought we were much better from the off. Celtic's goal actually came very much against the run of play as the game had been played mostly by us in their half before that. But what a response from us. Young McCarthy was excellent and played his part in the goal. Christie continues his phenomenal performances with a great assist and Azeez takes his goal brilliantly. The big man actually had a great 90 minutes and held the ball up well and brought the midfield in to play whenever he could. To think there are still people who can't see what he brings to the team is quite astonishing and displays a level of stupidity that should probably result in them having some sort of mental examination. Guys like Sabbath are quite common at Firhill in my experience. What you will find is that they were drawn to Thistle in the first place because we are historically so poor. Guys like that actually prefer the team to be performing badly because it means they can shout and scream all sorts of abuse during the game and continue to slate the players and management online afterwards. It's what makes them tick, and when the team is suddenly successful, they aren't actually able to enjoy it like the rest of us. I truly feel sorry for Sabbath and would urge him and all those like him to seek professional help so that they can enjoy this period of unparalleled success with the rest of us. He must feel like an inmate who has been released from prison but actually prefers life on the inside.
  9. I think we are overthinking this now. Beat Motherwell on Saturday and I don't think anyone can catch us - that should be our only worry just now. If, after we get another 3 points, Killie still manage to catch us with their run of fixtures then you would have to just say fair play to them as they will have earned it. I'm confident that one more win is all we need though.
  10. Demand amongst their support is obviously a lot higher this season. If, as I was told, the allocation was only 360 initially then we have taken quite a while to sell all of those (I was able to get one on Monday). So to be honest we can't really complain too much. Celtic have provided some more but to be honest the demand probably isn't there for much more than that. If I am wrong then there must literally hundreds of us who are obviously leaving it far too late to get tickets. Different from a previous game at Parkhead where the allocation sold out almost instantly because the club had not asked for very many tickets. This resulted in many jags fans buying for the celtic end and the away section was actually made bigger during the game to accommodate them.
  11. Thankfully I managed to get one yesterday. I heard the allocation was only 360. That seems pitifully small considering the size of the stadium.
  12. Did the club say they were trying to get more tickets?
  13. St. Mirren definitely weren't as well run as they made themselves out to be. I dare say they're now looking at us for ideas about how to recover.
  14. Remember that first goal very clearly. Brilliant away day at Dumfries and a decent 2-2 draw with Scott Chaplain getting our other goal with a great volley at the edge of the box.
  15. If you are using google chrome you can download an add on called "hola" which will allow you to choose which country you want to appear to be viewing from. Very easy to use.
  16. Had Doolan not got his 2 goals then Christie was an absolute certainty for man of the match. The centre halves played well, as did Lawless, but Christie was by far and away the best player for us throughout the 90 minutes. He also looked a real threat cutting in on to his left foot when he got forward. He's become the ultimate utility player and it's essential we keep him at the club.
  17. I'm heading out to a birthday party Barney, so I'll be leaving you and your mate to your keyboards where you can carry on slating honest and decent club officials. But of course, it's me that's being negative for defending them. Great logic. Sounds like a thrilling Saturday night in store for you
  18. I am basing it on your history of knee jerk reactions to bad results. To quote yourself: It's a fan's forum. He's entitled to express an opinion
  19. He's having a go at a guy who is helping him to watch/listen to a match. Michael is a good broadcaster, as is Raymond. On a day like today I just can't believe anyone can find the time to do something like this. To be honest it's embarrassing, as is your defence of him. But I wouldn't expect anything less from a doomsday merchant like yourself. Days like today must be very difficult for you.
  20. Why don't you give the rest of us a break. Michael is a great guy who has given years of service to the club. Personally I enjoy listening to him. Sounds like you have some serious issues of your own if you're coming on to a fans forum to complain about something so trivial and non-existent as this. Get a life.
  21. My sincerest condolences to yourself and the whole family Auld Jag. I very much enjoyed Robert's contributions on this forum and on Facebook. I also found it comforting to read how much he had been enjoying going to games since you both moved across with us to the North Stand.
  22. A man who's obvious talent is dwarfed by his many unforgivable wrong doings.
  23. Usual nonsense from the usual suspects. I honestly think we could be in the Champions League and these people would still moan. It's probably why they support Thistle in the first place, some people actually enjoy the pain and agony. They've been institutionalised in a sense. So used to calling for a manager to be sacked and slating the team, it's the only way of life they know. The last few years must have been very difficult for them.
  24. Well if it's any consolation to Liam the Canada game is probably one that no one would want to make their debut in. About 5,000 tickets sold apparently. On course to be Scotland's lowest home attendance in over 100 years. Well done Gordon Strachan.
  25. I think we all know that Dools will score. Hopefully that results in a win.
