  1. The new Marko Van Roberts. All the best Tommy - hope Jackie gets a good pre-season into you.
  2. Anyone else heard about possible loan interest in Norwich City youngsters? Gary Holt apparently involved in trying to get academy graduates some experience up north.
  3. Looks like a 2 year deal as well. It's a bit disconcerting hearing that County have cash to splash. Wouldn't take any of the St Johnstone cast offs to be honest. Danny Invincible would score goals at our level but his fitness would be an issue. Gavin Skelton's name has been punted around and I wouldn't mind seeing him at Firhill next season. I imagine he could be out of our price range, even in what will seemingly be a competitive market.
  4. Well said that man. Get in there Jackie. I have a real good feeling about this one.
  5. Is this person currently employed WJ? Jocky Scott? I'd be amazed if Jackie didn't get it. Wonder what the future holds for Sid if he does?
  6. Agreed. Being Solid at the back won't entice fans back to the JH stand by the dozen. Sticking 5 past the bottom teams this season could have given us a fighting chance of promotion instead of Liam missing sitters and letting the crap teams grind out results against us. I was a bit gutted when we missed the boat with Hardie and he went to the Pars. I thought he would have been ideal, and taking injury concerns into account, to bring on our attack minded youngsters. I think Hebridean Jag is right and would love to see somebody like McMenamin come in. One of the questions from the recent club questionaire was how do you suggest they get the fans back. Score more goals than we let in!
  7. Quite handy the ignore function - would still prefer not to know the ignored users have posted but that's manageable. To the 2x in question - Enjoy your forum experience fellas.
  8. Had a great pair of Ray-bans once. :-)
  9. Care to substantiate your claims or are you another abusive poster? Like I said I'm not commenting on the original thread, but the discourse which came after.
  10. *Woosh* That’s the sound of life passing you by, while you’re sitting greeting like a wee lassie on a fitba forum. I didn’t expect an intelligent or articulate reply and I wasn’t disappointed, so well done you on that part. Anyway, back to the pube measuring contest. My original comment was clearly in response to the noises you were making about banning somebody. It was completely irrelevant what was said leading up to it because it has been removed. I wonder what makes you think you’re entitled to demand anything from moderators of a football forum, of which you pay nothing for the upkeep for. BCG Jag summarised the situation pretty much spot on and entering into any more dialogue with you will only implicate me further in pathetic bickering, which almost certainly sickened the owners of the last forum.
  11. Firstly - I didn’t see the comments of which you are referring and would therefore find it hard to comment or apologise about them. I can only guess they have been removed by moderators. Secondly – I don’t care if moderators decide to ban users for crossing the line. It’s their forum. I do care when keyboard warriors go on a personal crusade and try to tell them how to do their job. Thirdly – Maybe you can go back and have another read of the rules, mainly the part about personal abuse. I’ll be expecting an apology.
  12. Perhaps the moderators have better things to do than entertain your witch-hunt point of view?
  13. Have it in the Commercial section of the site instead of the homepage. What's wrong with just a link on the front page? The homepage previously looked great - really tidy, discreet use of sponsors advertising and recent news available as soon as the homepage loads. Well done to those who update it regularly with the reports, photos, previews. Ive been using it much more than ever before but this latest "enhancement" looks amateur and brings the homepage down. Seems to me like someone is just desperate to get their mug on the homepage.
  14. Image 7 shows off the lush Firhill turf. Good pics. Cheers.
  15. I’d also like to know where else this will be shown? Produced for free? I hope so! I showed it to somebody impartial – they laughed. I’ve recently enjoyed using the official site more frequently because of its simplicity. It has come on a long way. However, those crappy embedded videos which take up half a page deter a lot of customers from searching websites. Just wondering who they are targeting via the website with this guff?
  16. How can you spot a Japanese prostitute? She'll be in the fishnets.
  17. Picture the scene. Jags against Raith for the league decider. In the dying seconds of the game, the ball deflects off Grant Murray's bawsack and into the back of the net. The entire JH stand empties onto the pitch at the final whistle. 33 points to play for. Alternatively if Raith have the league wrapped up by then, I can see a similar reaction to when we won the league at Love St. No pitch invasion/ Good banter and good memories for the champions.
  18. 36 points to play for and season ticket holders can't be arsed going to the game. Talk of "safety" in Div1 is depressing for so many reasons.
  19. Was Willie Jamieson involved in the Nelson deal with Hearts?
  20. I remember feeling gutted when Nelson left. But then along came Nicky Walker...
  21. Very sensible post and I'm sure McCall feels the same.
  22. He is indeed a detestable little scrotum. PUMP them Jags.
  23. Rangers youth system product, ex gypo and St Mirren? Did he play in a Scotland U21s at Firhill some years ago? Vaguely remember it but could be wrong. Surely were better with what we have until end of the season, unless he wants to play for free.
  24. Good photies. Seems as though the game played mostly in the dark with subbuteo floodlights. Well done the fans who trekked it through.
