    A Quiz

Roger Eli was surely the 90's? 1994/95?

might have played under Lambie during his caretaker spell between Britton/Whyte sacking & appointment of the bunnet iirc

    A Quiz

I think mainly in the 2nd Division winning season. He played a few times and scored a couple of goals iirc. I seem to remember him grabbing the mike & singing in the Forfar stand when we clinched the title
  4. Well I was at home for the first game so that's 1 down :-) I think it's an unfair comparison for many reasons:- it was our first game of the season; it was United's first game of the season; it was our first game in the SPFL (SPL) for 10 years; we were presented with the first division flag; we played great football last season; we were playing against a manager that walked out on us; it was August; it was a Friday night when so far crowds have proved to be higher for us; there was a great buzz about the place. Also, I've no idea of the DU support last Saturday, but I bet it was much less than half of the 2000 or so they brought in August. No need for alarm bells, 3700 was a decent crowd for February if you ask me
  5. Lawless is right sided from where I've seen him play!!
  6. I wish we'd sold him to be honest. Look at the money Livvy, Falkirk and Hearts have made by selling players to England, all of whom will probably end up back in Scotland for free in a couple of years. We'll now lose ATS for nothing
  7. not good enough for the Premiership, but I'm surprised he's dropping 2 divisions. Great memory of his winning goal at St Mirren, but I remember him wasting a great free kick position near the end of the Hibs home game when he fired high & wide.
  8. saw that yesterday and thought it was nonsense. Who in their right mind would do a daily commute from Manchester to Glasgow??? Even Manchester to Carlisle is a bit of a trek
  9. why were you at Morton game in the first place? Just curious
  10. there will be tons left, we'll have nowhere near as many as the last visit. Well I won't make it, so that's 1 down :-)
  11. That is impressive, but we had a certain goalkeeper at the time who saved us plenty of times :-) No idea who The Cup is
  12. who's going to own up to watching Eggheads? I'd love to shoot that lot of "brainboxes"!!! The biggest fix on TV.
  13. as much as I loved Campbell & Anderson, we still lost plenty of goals in those days!!
  14. not a great find, it was posted & commented on a while back, maybe last summer
  15. That's the way I remember it

    Killie Game

O'Donnell booked, oh no the pessimist in me is getting worried
  18. I see Ross County have taken another player on loan, I think that's the 4th this month plus I'm sure they had others on loan earlier in the season. Obviously we've had a few loanees as well, but does anybody know if there's a limit on how many loan signings can be made in a season?

    Killie Game

hope this isn't a repeat of the last Killie game at Firhill when we should have won easily but couldn't finish them off. C'mon Jags!!!
