  1. Great find Juggernaut. That was a brilliant day.
  2. Maybe we can go in the enclosure!Just like the old days!
  3. All this value for money stuff really gets my goat. I can afford a season ticket, so every year I buy one as it costs around £240. I don't even contemplate whether it's a good deal or not. I buy it because it's my hobby and a bloody brilliant hobby at that. I don't play golf, go to a gym, gamble, or buy fancy cars etc.so my little luxury is a season ticket for The jags. I was introduced to the Jags as a child 44 years ago and love every minute of being a Jag. i really don't give a shit if I miss a couple of games a season. It's nice having my own personal seat, but I've only sat in it twice in the last 2 years when the Tic have come along. Outwith that I've gone and stood in the Northy with a chap I encouraged to come along at the beginning of the season, who is now an absolute diehard like me and will be buying his first ever season ticket for next season. I would suggest to the club that they spread the cost over 4 payments and like a couple of seasons ago put in a free or discounted hospitality day, but if we want to push on, then buy your season ticket and try and bring 1 pal along to the games. 1 pal, that's it. I don't think dropping the price of entry will have any effect on the crowds. It's down to us as the Jags family to encourage new blood along. We live in Glasgow where unfortunately the majority of football fans have been brought up by thickos. We all know them, neighbours, friends, colleagues who marvel at the thought of someone so simple that they can support the cuddly toy of scottish football. So we grit our teeth and get on with it and soak up the memories of occasionally humping the **** on the other side of the river, and winning the odd championship. I love my passion for The Jags and I love reading about my fellow Jags fans. My mate, who some of you may have met this season is from London. He just gets it. He loves watching the Jags and says that he feels part of a family. 1 season. He has missed about 3 games and is totally addicted. He postponed a visit to London yesterday so he could go to Hamilton. Up The Jags!!!
  4. This might work! Sorry! Hope you enjoy it!!
  5. oooooh, that's me justin. very frunk. Give me 20 minutes. I have some super footage....back soon.
  6. Dear Mr Blackpool Jags. Every year in February I go to The Magic Convention at the Winter Gardens. Put that in your diary for I shall be taking you out for a pint!!
  7. Nice to hear from you Barney. Dingwall next for our London chum.
  8. A real success story this season has been a stranger I met at a wedding in Italy last summer. We got chatting and he told me he'd moved up from London to live with his wee Glasgow lassie. He's a Charlton fan and proceeded to tell me that he'd been to a couple of Jags games as there was no way he'd go and watch either one of the Old Scum. Well, as you can imagine, I took an instant liking to this chap and told him I'm a season ticket holder and if he wanted to go to a couple of games with me this season then to come along. He has missed about 3 games all season and has become obsessed with the Jags. And I mean obsessed. He absolutely loves us. His dad in Turnbridge Wells is now addicted and phones every week after the games to pass on his opinions. He will buy a season ticket for next season and simply love The Jags. If only we could get a few more like him onboard.
  9. I've been once to that dump outwith The Jags. It was around 20 years ago against Hearts. We weren't playing that day and the Jambos were on one of their great runs that happen once in a blue moon. It might even have been a cup game. Anyway, it was a good day out as the Jamdos won 2-0 I think. Good fun winding up the knuckle draggers.
  10. Great edition. The Willie Collum diary is hilarious!!
  11. He will be a full time Jag next year.
  12. Brilliant stuff Yoda. Certainly has brightened up my day already!
  13. I remember the celebrations at Parkhead when we scored. I recall falling on the terrace and getting trampled!! The noise level that day amongst the Jags fans was incredible.
  14. Maybe. His first goal was at QOS, but I can't remember if we won that day.
  15. I've always liked him, Conrad and Welsh since the Star and Garter crazy night!
  16. So I couldn't go today, one of only 3 games I've missed this season!! In my 40th year of following the Jags and I still haven't seen us win at bloody Tannadice!! Which made me wonder in my 40 years where else am I still awaiting a Jags win on my travels. So as far as I can recall I have never seen us win at- Dundee Utd Aberdeen Queen of the South Stenhousemuir Elgin City Albion Rovers (saw the 11-1 win at Fir Park) (remember the 5-4 loss shambles?!!!) East Fife (I think) East Stirling. So in 40 years I've still to see us win at 19% of all 42 grounds. The QOS one amazes me as I've been there loads but I think it's always been draws or losses. When Dools scored on his debut, did we win that one? Can't remember at all. How do the rest of you on here compare?
  17. They seem to be morphing into Sports Direct. Was-49.000 Now-11,000. (heard that one on the radio yesterday-made me chortle!)
