So hypothetically if a Scottish club were to go bust, would they then be able to reform as a non league team like AFC Wimbledon and begin working up the leagues in England? Or if a new team was formed in Scotland would they be able to then register as an English non league club like the Welsh ones do? Swansea City, Cardiff, Newport County, Colwyn Bay, Merthyr Town, Bangor City, Barry Town, Caernarfon Town, Newtown and Rhyl all play a part at some level of English football.. So what would be the barrier to a newly formed Scottish team taking part in the same competitions? (team list from Wikipedia.. so could be completely wrong) A lot of what ifs but it's an interesting idea to play around with..
