Players like David Rowson, Alan Archibald, and Liam Buchanan may be offered deals but on reduced terms. The latter will need to start scoring though. The average wage for a first division player may drop by around 10%, maybe even more. So we will be looking for players on reduced terms.

Got to disagree, it is a goal scoring opportunity so technically it is a red card. However most referees would have let it go. Erskine’s claim would have been soft if given. Can’t believe the ref missed the elbow on Erskine and failed to stop the game when going down for a head injury. If you watch it carefully he takes a look at Erskine on the ground.

I think this is all working against us, we are just starting to pick points up and were due to play an out of form Stirling we have beaten the week before. The only thing in our favour is it’s been away games that have been called off. Home games moved to during the week would have cost us money.

I was surprised about McCall’s comments about sending brannigan out for a maximum of two months. It’s great experience if he is starting every week for Ayr. If we are playing 3-5-2 I can’t see McCall playing both brannigan and Flannigan. I think Flannigan is going to be ahead of Brannigan this season. Next season may well be different. I think we may get to see a little more of Jamie Campbell on Saturday, and I think a few others may make their debuts before Xmas.

Big result for us but would liked Liam to have scored.

I am sure McCall will let him play and that he will stay longer than a month. It’s a perfect move for him.

He has to play two under 21’s on Saturday so we could see one getting some playing time on from the bench. Over the next few months I think you will see a few getting on off the bench. Bannigan played the full 90 mins for Ayr and comment on the Ayr forum suggests he played well. Pretty sure he will feature for us when he comes back.

People are forgetting that Morton beat Dunfermline the week before. Obviously we would like to win at home but every point is vital. We have started picking up points regularly and if we keep doing that then we will avoid relegation. If McCall can keep us up and blood 6 or 7 or our young player’s then job well done for this season.

Forgot about maxwell alway's playing against Morton. he may start infront of McNamara in the center of defence.

We have collapsed several times away from home, we have to set-up defensively. I would be happy with a point out of this. The only surprise for me is Flannigan ahead of Cairney. Must still be a problem with Rowson, as he would have started today if fit.

Hopefully he will get his chance here. They must have been impressed in the recent reserve game.
