    I was having doubts about Archie at the start of the season, but he's proving me wrong. He has shown he is not afraid to drop regulars for the good of the team. He has improve, IMO,the squad from last season.It took time, but he has. We seem to be getting away from the habit of losing late goals. I don't think we can get any better for the size of us.

    Regards the treatment of Welsh, I am sure that the new physio identified a different trestment to his injury and he has come back quicker than he would have if he had the old treatment. So Welsh has been desparately unlucky.

    As this injury is different to the one he has been out with,and Archie describes as an impact injury, which every player is in danger off, we can surely stand by him. When he comes back and shows what a fine player he is for Thistle, then give him a new contract.

    If Motherwell wanted Archie would the BOD standnin his way? And Motherwell are a bigger club, so Archie might fancy it. Personally I don't see it happening.Archie at Thistle for a good while yet.
