  1. Rio Ferdinand, after the Belgium v USA game: "It was like a Premier League game" Like Hull v Stoke for example?
  2. Create an account at https://soundcloud.com/. Upload song. Post link. It's quite a simple process, even I managed it!
  3. This is all I have, i@n. 39 seconds.
  4. The intention of this thread was to illicit amusing ideas from (often) intelligent members for the use of a countdown timer. Hasn't really worked out that way! C'est la vie. Really don't need any intervention from you. If you are going to spout your nonsense again this season, I ask that you do so somewhere other than this forum.
  5. Days until next anger management meeting?
  6. Now that the club have gone to the trouble of putting a countdown timer on the OS, they seem determined to use it continually. What other uses could it have through the coming season? Days until we clear out of the NS to accommodate Celtic fans?
  7. Perhaps there should be a line across the pitch, to assist commentators, 30yds from goal. Without it, any strike from 21-24yds out is easily mistaken for a 30yd screamer by our media gurus.
  8. Oh, just returned to site and there it is. Strange.
  9. Having problems with this. I have an image 150px x 150px. File size 45kb. On Profile page, select Edit Profile then change your photo... In Photo Editor window, select Choose File. Upload photo. New filename appears next to Choose File button, new photo appears, also in crop window and at top of screen on black banner next to profile name. Click done. Photo Editor window closes. New image still at top of screen. Click save changes and profile pic returns to old image.
  10. I would be horrified if Thistle were prepared to pay Goodwillie what he expects to carry on his (at the very least) nasty, violent lifestyle.
  11. Alan Green on Radio 5 tonight (on Uruguay's second goal): "I'm disappointed in Cahill and Jagielka for not being closer to Suarez and pushing him over. A free kick and no harm done." That from a Northern Irishman who doesn't support his own country. Glory hunter, cheat and loser.
  12. "...a tartan hat with tufts of orange hair..." Oh dear! Vote YES!!
  13. England's attempts to cheat in the penalty box in the first two games have been poor. They need to work on that along with attacking and defending.
  14. Sorry, maybe I'm being stupid, what are we being asked to comment on?
  15. Tonight Radio 5 is at it's very best. The way they turn on their team is a joy to hear. When will the English media ever learn that they are greatly responsible for that nations unrealistic expectations.
  16. I'm sure you're right, My Lady. It is also terrible mismanagement. It's not really about the £10, it's about the mess the club is in. So many administrative 'glitches' over the last 18 months. How many on WAT mistrust the club? They are incompetent. This mob will never grow the fan base to 5,000 season ticket holders. I'm sure most people dismissed that statement as soon as it was uttered. We are all proud of Archie and the players for what they have achieved over the last two years and look forward to seeing the team flourish. However, I wonder how close to the ceiling of achievement we are with the current club management.
  17. Glass in the windows too, so unlikely to be Dundee.
  18. I'm sure Radio 5 will provide some great one-liners from their assembled idiots. Tonight, from that mangler of the English language, Steve Claridge: "I think you had to be there to witness it."
  19. Thanks BGM. I will be phoning the club on Monday. More mis- dis- and lack of information.
  20. Phoned the office today to ask whether Apple users would be able to renew online by the 15th. I was told that we wouldn't. I asked how, under the circumstances, I could renew without paying a £10 penalty. The answer was 'Go to the library'. So the choice was to renew over the phone and pay £10 or haul my two kids off to a library at some point over the weekend and use a public internet link and a ticketing system which I am unconvinced is secure and may not work anyway (I won't go into the nonsense of expecting me to give email addresses for my young boys). I may by then, of course, lose my seats. I renewed our three seats over the phone. It took about a minute. I handed over £368 and got no thanks. A shocking way to treat a loyal customer. As I have said before, I love the Jags. I am, however, not a supporter of the business that is Partick Thistle Football Club. It is appallingly run. I have no faith in their ability to increase the fan base and lead the club forwards. I will be surprised if season ticket sales exceed last season. Off the park we are going nowhere. As a Jags fan, I write this with a heavy heart.
  21. 05 Days 01 Hour 24 Minutes 50 Seconds to go and I still can't renew on my Mac. The OS says this will be rectified shortly. Hopefully in the next 5 days. The club keep stressing how important the season ticket money is to them and they seem to believe that they will, one day, have 5,000 season ticket holders. As this is one of the main sources of income I would have thought the club would have an efficient way of taking the money. I have 300 quid here ready to give to the club. If anybody from PTFC is reading this perhaps they could PM me and tell me what they would like me to do. I love the Jags and will turn up to see them whenever I can with or without a season ticket. I'm afraid that the current custodians of the club are an embarrassment though. Many businesses would bend over backwards to get their hands on my money. The, so called, businessmen running our club are sleepwalking into the future.
  22. Oh dear. Shambles. Better check your bank account, you may have paid for all three!
  23. Judging by Beatie's plea on the OS, I guess sales aren't going too well. Not really surprising when the online site is not secure and not accessible by anyone using a Mac.
