  1. Both clubs can negotiate and come to a resolution. His old club knows he can not pay this fine without playing for another club, therefore both clubs need to negotiate.
  2. Signing a player of Coulibaly ability without having to pay a significant transfer fee was never going to be easy. What the club have done, is put themselves I prime position to negotiate with his old club. The end result could be that he is available to play, or they might loan him to us for a season, so he is in the shop window, or we may have to buy him for a small fee with a big sell on clause for them. I am delighted that they are attempting to resolve all the issues surrounding him, rather than thinking it is too difficult and not trying. This shows ambition
  3. I think a winger who drives at the opposition with pace is a welcome addition to the squad. Who else does this?
  4. I thought Shae Gordon was outstanding today. Held his position, aggressive, won the ball, made himself available for the defenders and passed well.
  5. If that is the team that is anounced as I an driving to the game, I m turning round and going home. Last year taught us you need central midfielders .
  6. Can we all agree that despite our different opinions about the manager and the quality of the players, we will all support the team when they kick off at 3pm on Saturday. Booing and shouting abuse at the players will only hand Falkirk a huge advantage. If we expect the players to step up their performance, we need to show our support. Let's get back to the " we score when we want" days.
  7. Lets take some positives out of today's game. We are really good at passing the ball sideways.
  8. Some very fortunate people have lost their sense of humanity http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/scots-councillor-vows-invest-rangers-2319273
  9. My scores are as follows Erty1 2-1 1-1 3-0 2-1 1-1 1-3 Erty2 1-0 2-1 3-2 3-1 2-0 1-2
  10. BB I think the issue with this medal is its price. I think that the seller has put it up at nearly £2k to see if anyone is mad to pay the asking price. The real price for a good quality medal is nearer £1k. I would let it run its time on eBay and then hopefully the sellers expectations will be reduced. John
  11. Happy to also pledge £100,or more if there was less of us. Also happy to lend it to the club, but would also like some visiting rights. Erty13
  12. North stand. Can we have some noise today. You have been quiet all season.
  13. There has been lots of discussion about our central three midfielders not being able to play together. They do control the play well, but one of them needs to burst into the box to support. When we are attacking we need to have three players in the box to give us a chance of scoring. This means that if a wide midfielder has the ball, then the forward should be suppored by the other wide midfielder and a central midfielder. Without only two in the box the defenders can easily double up on our players. Last year we looked dangerous when SOD was bursting down the right. The attack was supported by the striker and the two attacking midfielders. Craigan was also another body in the box last year. On Saturday we looked our most dangerous when Booth was atacking, as there was more support in the box, hopefully Dumbuya can do the same more often. If we go with two strikers or three atacking midfielders, our aim should always be to have three in the box, to conversation some of the chances we create.
  14. Happy to also contribute £20 towards top number 5. Erty13
  15. Why would you put our best midfielder at right back, when he is left footed and looked exposed when he played there. The right back position is filled. John
  16. I think Christie Elliott will be our right back next season Looks like another poster beat me to this. Easy to work out who sits next to me in the JHS
  17. The player of the year vote should be part of the TAG scheme, and run by the club. Is there any plans to make it more inclusive.
  18. The football today was not sexy but it was very effective. Credit to the manager for how he set the team up. Erty13
  19. Where I was sitting the boos started after two or three minutes. What I said was support the team during the game. I have no problem with anyone getting upset when we lose a goal, but the constant abuse destroyed a fragile team further. Do you genuinely believe that constantly having a go at the players does any good, or do you just do it to make yourself feel better.
  20. The team were very poor yesterday and completely lack confidence, however too many supporters take pleasure in shouting abuse after every misplaced pass or tackle. This does not help the teams confidence. They were all terrified yesterday of making mistakes There is a reason most teams have a better home record. It is the support the home fans give the team drives them on. Even the Celtic fans got behind their keeper, when he made two massive mistakes that cost them two goals. Next home game, can we all support the team, and try not to destroy their confidence during the game. Erty13
