  1. What a fantastic result! It has been a magnificent last couple of months since the 3-1 defeat at home to county. After that game I recall posting that I thought Archie should go, a comment made albeit when emotion was running high from that debacle. Happy to retract that statement!
  2. Balatoni and Frans have got a really good partnership going. Both cover each other very well. They each made a couple of mistakes today but the other was there to cover it. One goal conceded in the last four games is very good going considering the teams we have played!
  3. I can't wait for this season to end
  4. Agree with this. The idea that he deliberately tried to get sent off is nonsense
  5. Superb performance today! Osman was my man of the match, phenomenal display. Frans also deserves a special mention for keeping Ciftci so quiet. Craigen, Bannigan, Balatoni and Taylor also great. It shows the difference it makes when the centre of the midfield control the game!
  6. Gutted that this has happened. His effort and level of performance in the second half of last season will always hold him in high regard!
  7. The fitness issue is one I have been wondering about. Eccelston was quoted saying that he was surprised by the intensity of the training at Kilmarnock compared with us
  8. Disgusting performance, absolutely disgusting. You work hard all week, in a job that you don't really like, pay £22 and witness that absolute farce. Half the team looked like they didn't care. Fraser was as good as a man down. Worse I've ever seen Seaborne, horrendous attempt at a tackle for their penalty. Full backs horrendous, wingers horrendous. Fair play to Lyle Taylor though he worked his arse off. I think serious questions need asked of the management team. Everything has gone majorly south since the Mcmillan scenario, most of all we miss him on the pitch because he is a leader and actually looks like he gives a s**t! Whole squad hasn't been the same since. Archibald has been a great servant but we have come as far as we can under his management.
  9. Amazing how much Higgy and Fraser have regressed over the past few months, very disappointing and both rightly subbed at half time. Not starting Taylor was madness.
  10. Scully has had two full seasons of first team football at Dunfermline where he seemingly improved significantly. He should be challenging for a starting place with us next season.
  11. Osman was absolutely disgraceful tonight. Played the hard man act all game, acceptable for a couple of early challenges but completely reductive for any length of time. Could easily have been sent of for his tackle on Osbourne. His in the face antics with Thompson were also disgraceful when the game was still going on around him. Higgy should consider himself lucky if he gets an offer from us.
  12. Outrageously good tonight. Regret stating I wanted Eccelston up front pre match haha. Higgy back to his old self, Lawless causing chaos, Seaborne and Frans as solid as a rock and obviously Dools was sensational. Special mention goes to Stevenson who has turned into a quite brilliant team player and is the first name on the team sheet. In all truth everybody deserves praise, magnificent performance
  13. Wouldn't mind this tonight. Wingers will have to put in a big shift to make up for the lack of full backs. Obviously not ideal but we have to work with what we have available to us. Would like Lawless playing through the middle as he is wasted out wide Gal Balatoni Frans Seaborne Osman Mcdaid Fraser Stevenson Higgy Lawless Eccelston
  14. Right, lets not mess about, that was absolutely woeful today. As has been said it was near enough a carbon copy of the Motherwell game. We seem completely ineffectual against teams that sit in a bit. Constantly shifting the ball nicely from side to side without any real hope of an end product. First goal from them was lucky, the second looked like a free header. Lack of options at full back brutally exposed. Do you honestly think O'Donnell wasn't affected by talk of a transfer? Very poor performance. Keenan was a lot better to be fair, Balatoni a bit ropey, time for Frans to come back in. Seaborne was excellent as always, fantastic signing. In the middle Bannigan and Osman worked hard but constantly slowed the pace right down. Lawless anonymous Stevenson was good again, Mcdaid showed some decent flashes. Doolan completely ineffectual. Liked what I saw of Eccelston when he came on, predictable scapegoating from some fans when he missed the one on one which was an excellent bit of defending. Less said about Higgy the better, a shadow of the player from last season, needs a few big performances soon. I in no way want the manager out but I'm just frustrated at forking out a healthy amount to watch that performance. Hopefully bring a few in over the next two weeks. Big three games coming up, need to win at least two of them.
  15. A patronising and frustrating statement from the club that I predict will do little to dampen the anger about this. The players and the management team would prefer fans behind them? That strikes me as completely made up on the spot, would be staggered if Archibald, Paterson and the playing staff had communicated this to the board. Absolute nonsense

  17. Seemed like a very calculated move to tell you this on the day of the last game of the season. Sickening and completely classless
  18. On his birds twitter it says he is fine and hasn't got any serious breaks or fractures
  19. You looked absolutely devastated Ian the chants today will just be the start of this. There is no way we will lie down over this one
  20. Staggering to think we only won two games at home all season. We should be targeting at least 8 wins at home next season
  21. Deserves a lot of credit for the last couple of months, he has been superb. His grit and determination is excellent. Happy we have him signed up for next season.
  22. How is the money distributed? Is it a lump sum at the end of the season or is it more evenly distributed during the season with the difference being met at the end?
  23. It would be interesting to see what position we would be in if Osbourne and/or Welsh had both stayed fit all season (albeit there is more chance of Rangers posting healthy financial figures). We have desperately missed an aggressive midfielder who can provide leadership on the park and try take some of the pressure off the defence. Not a criticism of Bannigan or Fraser but they could do with some experience beside them
  24. In that case I would love to see us at least make an offer that matches what he is on at the moment. Unfortunately Super Ally can probably offer him a silly amount to tempt him back to Ibrox, although like peagreenboy says anybody would be made to commit to that financial monstrosity at the moment.
