  1. Thanks Afraser. Erskine could have scored 3, he was very unlucky.
  2. I was lucky enough to see Tony Benn speak a couple of times over the years at the Glastonbury Festival. He came across as a decent, genuine and inspirational man with real values. Rare qualities compared to what we usually get with politicians. I wish there was more like him.
  3. Obviously pleased as it will hopefully benefit us next week, but have a wee bit of sympathy, especially for their younger fans - will never forget the awful feeling after the Ramsdens Final walking back to the coach and hearing the cheers ringing in the background when the cup was being presented.
  4. Found this old pic recently and just spotted this post. Brilliant seeing the old pics thanks. Don't have Facebook to send this in so thought I'd post it here, cheers!
  5. Hibs v Motherwell - live audio commentary - http://www.plzsoccer.com/footballshow
  6. 2 cheeky away wins please. Both are possible, in my opinion.
  7. Looked everywhere for a stream but not to be am afraid. Can only find Celtic and Motherwell games. Text commentary and Sportsound will need to do

Not that interested. Would need to be some exciting new ideas attached to it to reignite my interest. A dvd from last season would be a start but can't see that happening now sadly.
  11. Higgy has been my favourite player this year, exciting to watch and always plays his heart out. I hope he stays at Thistle for a very long time.
  12. Today's the day Stewarty. I can feel it in my bones. If not today, then definitely next week. I love being a Jags fan!
  13. That's the weather taken a turn for the worse, was just out at the shops there for half hour and rain has soaked me through. Forecast is for more heavy showers throughout the day. Today could be a special day though so will be up Firhill wind, rain or shine. Fingers crossed
  14. A friend of mine suggested these are very user friendly and may be helpful - https://immunicity.org/ http://torrenticity.com/ourproxies.php http://come.in/
  15. Trying to come up with a good tune for it Yoda... Best I have so far is Modern Romance, Best Years Of Our Lives - First verse optional but the lyrics are perfect. Needs a killer hook at the end of the chorus though... When we first met, I could hardly believe The things that would happen, what we could achieve So let's be together for all of the time And thank my good fortune that you are still mine Chris-sey Er-skine - you are the love of my life Chris-sey Er-skine - i'd let you shag my wife Chris-sey Er-skine - thistles the only team for you Chris-sey Er-skine - welcome back from the zoo / he has golden poo / your too good to be true / we really love you / scores a goal for you Either that or we just sing Bridge Over Troubled Water and be done with it
  16. I hope this gets sung tomorrow night! Almost crying with happiness! Well done Archie http://ptfc.co.uk/me...13/2004_falkirk 06.48 absolute magic. Welcome home Chris!
  17. Archie must stay. Yes, a home win would be nice but the team have been playing great football (despite our limitations) and if a few more results had gone our way this thread wouldn't even exist. Things will come good. A managerial switch now would be a disaster. I still believe in Archie and the players and will continue to support them. Most fans I know feel the same despite some of the doom merchants on here.
  18. Listen / download from here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/scotfoot LT bit is at 17.44
  19. Just been reading comments from fans on a St Johnstone forum - http://www.wearepert...-141213/page-15 They are understandably giving PTFC pelters - Complimentary tickets that aren't complimentary; free entry for Jags kids but not St J kids; only finding out about first match being abandoned on social media via smartphones as tannoy in Main Stand wasn't working; additional travel costs to attend replay as well as having to pay £32 to see 1 and a half matches; comments about poor toilet facilities in the Main Stand including one from a father who's wee boy couldn't reach the toilet so had to pee on the floor; talk of lawyers letters + emailing PTFC to complain, many now refusing to attend etc etc Ironically, many St J fans say they would have been happy to pay a £5 entry with no complaints. While the smartcard scheme is a good thing for Jags fans, it must be galling for St J fans. The offer of half price travel for St J fans is commendable but not enough to repair the damage IMO. I reckon they should let St J fans in to this match for a fiver and their kids for free. Failing that, perhaps us Jags fans should copy the efforts of Bournemouth FC fans - http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/25620878 Wouldn't take much for us to pay the other 50% of travel costs. I'd happily chip in a tenner if someone can set up a page to do this .... If we could do something like this, the goodwill created between the fans would be immense.
  20. I just watched this to cheer myself up - http://ptfc.co.uk/media/video/match_highlights/2012-2013/2010_airdrie_united Happier times.
  21. Under 16's still allowed mate. There's a steward outside the entrance with kids tickets if you need one.
  22. Celtic are providing a free bus service, for both sets of fans, from various points throughout Glasgow to the game on New Years Day. Full details here - http://www.celticfc....target=free_bus Am sure most would prefer to use a Jags supporter bus (as would I) but this may help those who can't easily get to a Jags bus pick up point.
  23. Ordered me + the wee mans tickets yesterday. Restricted view left only, but who cares, we're excited to be going! Also purchased tickets for the other side. Other half + kids are Celtic fans. All going together but sitting in separate sections : ) Surprisingly, (for home fans) there was only single tickets dotted about the ground available. everything else was showing as sold out. Had to buy slightly dearer tix to get theirs all together. Got to admit, the Celtic online ticket page is very impressive. You can see every seat in the ground, choose the one you want, and if you click on it, it gives you an approximation of the view you will get from that seat. Boycott? These are the games we want to involved in. Mon' the Jags.
