And if the amount of money needed to fix the JHS room was say six figures should any owner be told ?

No….I would like to know the issues with the JHS stand as at one point it was suggested that the issues were serious requiring a serious amount of cash spent on it …..

So let me get this right under fan ownership the fans actually don’t get to know anything other than whatever the club board decides to tell them … no change then

Well maybe because it’s ‘thinks’ and no one knows what no change would have resulted in……but in fact we didn’t get promoted so the change failed in that respect.

Maybe look up ‘managing ‘ in the dictionary because it doesn’t mean ‘knowing’ and what’s wrong with communicating the detail ?

Only thistle fans would view failing to get promoted as well…..fine

No one is suggesting micro managing anything simply communicating the decisions made and why for example there’s been a lot of chat about the JHS roof and apparently we are spending money on it …I would be interested to know what the issue is , why it’s happened etc etc I do not think that is unreasonable not everyone may be interested but lots of people are

Well we were one point off fourth , McCall got sacked and we finished fourth thanks to other results and didn’t get promoted. that is failure.

It may have been …..but your predictive ability is unproven unless you know the lottery numbers this week? to be clear we changed manager apparently to get promotion …..we failed in that objective …..who carried the can ?

So who was accountable for overspending and not getting promotion ? We were not on a downward spiral unless you consider being one point off fourth spot before the rangers game a potentially turnaround performance ( we just made fourth spot due to other results going our way at the end of the season - hardly over achieving) so we failed in our stated objective to get promoted. where we ended up was where we started ffs hardly brilliant

I understand the point you make but I’m concerned that excuse is used not to tell the fans anything the club doesn’t want them to know …..just like the old boss

Actually the club doesn’t need to respect that it’s a choice it make and I’m nit sue what we should. People have rights but so does the club …..you might reasonably ask who wants to keep their identity secret making a £10 donation to us and why ?! And sorry one of the differences you would think between a fan owned and non fan owned club is a lot more transparency so yes I woukd expect to know how much , on what and why .

If you read that as I did at the time it explained very little actually ( probably what wasn’t said was more important ) and in hindsight they failed in their own set objective ….we replaced an experienced manager with an inexperienced manager and then failed to get promoted and of course no one is accountable for that failure.

But it’s all a bit vague …..who ? How much ? Where’s it being spent etc etc ? for a small business we have have more NDAs than Goldman Sachs

I’ll make one comment …. I watched the new owner of Bournemouth explain on tv yesterday before their game explain why they sacked Gary O’Neill …. You might expect a fan owned club to at least explain such decisions to their fellow owners
