All my Rangers mates are quite sensible and were not going to boycott any Scotland games. The microbrewery is probably the The Clockwork but has been around for about 15 years. They are very strict in letting people in and don't allow it to be busy. Unless you are there at crazy o'clock you wont make it. I've given up trying. The number of tickets sold is a bit disappointing but I'm sure it will pick up. Always good to get as many Glasgow/West of Scotland fans there if anything to stop all the Aberdonians saying they are the biggest Scotland fans. Seem to bump into a decent number of Thistle fans on the odd occassions I go watch Scotland away.

I shall be there in South Stand. Going with 2 Rangers fans and a so called Everton fan. Scarf and Scotland t-shirt with me. No kilt, timerberlands, pipers jacket or pheasant feathers which are a particular bug bear for me.

Sad news. Thoughts with the family.

Remember Jackie has only been manager a season and a bit. It takes time for his training and ideas to take hold in training and on the pitch. If the players lost the head a bit and started playing different to the current passing style in the 2nd half then I'm sure he will have them in working on it at Glasgow Green and getting sports psychologists and scientists involved as well. It's a wee set back for a broader plan.

Still a good offer. Reduced tops. Season ticket holders get priority. Greaves get rid of old stock.

If he is "a steamer" and is 16 then he needs to get a bit of reality. That's not the way we should be condoning.

I personally prefer the old Away top and current 3rd strip.

When you look at the attendances outside Div 1 and now some teams like Cowdenbeath and Dumbarton it really does show that the league needs reorganised. 42 senior teams is ridiculous. Junior teams get bigger crowds than most Div 2 and 3 teams.

!!! I know they are a smaller club and part-time but Dumbarton is just down the road. You would think people would use it as an excuse to get down to Glasgow, slightly sexist but the lady can go to the shops and the bloke to the football with the kids.

That doesn't wash with me these days. It's used as an excuse for everything. Go down Buchanan Street and shops are mobbed. Pubs and restaurants are stowed out. The jakies are still have a booze up in the less salubrious parts of Glagsow. People are still throwing their money around on holidays and ipads and fancy gear from "Cruise". The economy cannot be blamed.

If we are not getting 1000 season tickets that is pretty poor especially after all the outrage and potential boycott over Rangers in Div 1.

I like the poster. It's good to have positivity and a feel good factor. You see Glasgow Rugby highlighting their successes so why can't we? Ignore the doom mongers. People talk about advertising the game and getting more people along. The posters are good and have been created to download. Then it's time for fans to download them and put them up in their local pub, place of work, kids school, shop etc and advertise the game. It's the simplest, cheapest and probably most effective way of getting people along. People like to see a winning team.

Queens Park v Thistle Challenge Cup August 2012

We now have the money raised but even better we have enough money for 2 pairs of boots after a very generous donation from a person who wishes to remain anonymous put in £140! We have raised an additional £240 for the club - £570 overall. Currently the only 2 players left for boots are Brad Halsman and Ryan Scully. There are options of shorts as well but I think a signed pair of (clean) boots at the end of the season are better than a pair of shorts. Let me know if anyone has any objections but currently we will have Nomads name on David Rowsons Away Top and 2 pairs of boots. That gives people 3 chances to win something at end of year. Big well done and big thanks to all who donated.

Never understood why people take the hump with Pressley. He is a passionate manager. I like his brown shoes. His team try to play football on the deck and he gives youth a chance. I'm all for guys like him and MacNamara who are pragmatic and modern type of young manager.
