  1. Not in my almost 50 years of supporting them!
  2. Ya fu***g dancer. Magic!! Circumstances stopped me getting up this season. only the 2nd time I've ever failed to see them during a season since 64. Won't happen in 2014-15.
  3. Nervously flicking between the BBC text and jags text commentaries........ Hopefully not much injury time! sh*t just seen the 6 mins added post!
  4. The 15 year-old Tobermory single malt is on the side ready for the final whistle.
  5. So, there's a St Mirren fan in the Killie office, then?
  6. When I saw Tommy's shot of the fans on Saturday evening, I wondered why you were all herded into the top half of that stand. I thought it would have been much better for atmosphere, TV coverage and press photos to have the fans in the bottom tier. Was their any particular reason that you know about?
  7. http://ptfc.co.uk/commercial/dvd Should have waited and made it a double DVD with our Great Escape!
  8. I had a mate do DVDs of them, but it's arse about elbow in that it's - Disc 1 is 2001 - 2002 season and part 1 of 2000 - 2001 Disc 2 is 2000 - 2001 part 2. What's the copyright about uploading to youtube? And I don't have a clue about doing it, but willing to have a try if I won't end up in the BarL or bankrupt.
  9. Anyone else trying to watch this. I can sit here and watch any of the BBC channels fine, but this keeps stalling and buffering. Still at the National Anthems 15 mins into the match on my screen!
  10. Squeaky bum time there!!!!!
  11. Having visions of us hammering them 1-1 again. (that's the optimism that 50 years of watching the Jags brings!!!!)
  12. Getting a bit worring by Dung saying we're all over them, but not taking our chances judging by the text commentary. Won't be jumping above the Buddies today as they're now 3-0 up at Easter Road.
  13. Has anyone on here actually got a calendar that is correct?
  14. Bit of a trek from Wiltshire to take it back to the Executive Offices for a refund. Replacement offer would be nice. Wonder how many is a "small number"?
  15. The old Tynecastle had a great atmosphere and I always enjoyed going there, despite the Edinburgh polis taking my banner - best memory was when they switched the away ends and we ended up in the wrong end and wee Parky scored the winner as we were heading for the exit. "stop f****ing smiling, stop f****ing smiling, stop f****ing smiling" was we could say before we reached the relative safety of Gorgie Road. Agree about Brockville being a great atmosphere as well. Enjoyed going to most of the old "traditional" grounds - Methil, Boghead, Forfar for the Bridies, . Having been away now for 20 years, I haven't been to any of the newer grounds apart from Livi last year and was most impressed. That size and shape would be good for us. My adopted team Bristol Rovers are building a new stadium. in the 4th Tier, 5-6000 average, current capacity 10500, new stadium to hold 20,000, which most English Championship team struggle to get. Cracking stadium, but will only be a third full (if that given the current state of affairs!). Madness.
  16. God awful place to watch football in. I remember the game where we were sent to the "terracing" opposite the stand because the main stand concourse was being used for a flower show!! Only in Edinburgh. It was bloody freezing and the highlight of that day was Gordon Dalziel being given a cheer every time he took off a tracksuit when getting ready to go on as sub - think he had about 5 or 6 on.
  17. Perhaps it's the 58 year-old occupant that's not up to it, really! Since the advent of Go/Easyjet flights out of Bristol, the last time I drove up was 2002. Just glad I didn't make plans to go and visit my cousin in Aberdeen this weekend as talked about when the fixtures were announced. I can accept most Sunday kickoffs, early/late ones on a Saturday, but the switch to Fridays and Mondays from the weekend fixtures is a pain. But Sundays at 12:30 in Inverness was an effin joke.
  18. Normally around this time I'm planning my trips up from deepest Wiltshire with an overnight on Saturdays for February and April. Firstly Easyjet throw a spanner in the works by changing the Saturday take-off from Bristol from 7:00am to nearly noon in Feb (so little pub time and no allowance for delays) or 1:30pm in April, so need to fly in to Edinburgh and now I can't get the best deals because I have to hold off booking because of the televising and of course the split. Don't think my 10 year-old Punto would cope with the trip anymore! Anyone any ideas when the next lot of TV schedules are going to be announced?
  19. Robert always provides a great service for this. I did not subscribe this year because of the TAG scheme promising an online version!
  20. Thanks for the update, folks. Just need to be patient for a bit longer, by the sounds of it. After supporting the club from afar through all the different funds, draws etc this seemed to be something that I could actually buy into that was a bit more tangible and promoted a sense of being a part of the club.
  21. I'm disappointed that this hasn't happened as well. I also haven't ploughed through all the rest of the thread to see if this reason has already been suggested - could there have been insufficient interest to make it a viable proposition?
  22. May 15, 1964, Dad took me to Firhill for the first time - i was 8. Thistle 7 Thirds 2 in the Summer Cup. Not sure if he was a Jags fan before that or just wanted me to stay away from the evil twins (although he did always take me into town to watch the bigots parade until I was old enough to know better). He did take me regularly until I was deemed old enough to go with my pals in 1967. Quite a few Jags fans at Vicky Drive, including Rab who I still meet up with when I come up. Dad came along two or three times a season and the best memory of time with Dad was 23 October 1971 - only memory I have of actually hugging my dad as an "adult".
