  1. Got to agree with Chunky Jag - The book is proper turd and a complete Celtic love fest.
  2. Tommy Stewart in a nut shell. Another howler from him last night, if its not passed directly into his feet then he is not interested. His "header" that went in the opposite direction from the goal was a clear indication that he thought the defender was going to get it so didnt fully commit to it. Total imposter and shouldnt be anywhere near the first team.
  3. Also been worse than a man down in many games.
  4. Stayed off the forum as I wanted to avoid the inevitable nonsense that was bound to be spouted after yesterday. Logged in to reply to this topic as I cannot believe anyone would question Cairney this season. He has been our best player this season by a country mile and find it bizarre that anyone could dispute that. As for the Balatoni issue... he has had one or two decent games this season but I really cannot see the point of keeping him past January. I am sure that we have a youngster who could fill in for him easily (Can Jonny Lindsay not play CB?). Balatoni is far too prone to utter howlers and, seeing as he isnt even our player, I dont see the benefit of giving him further first team experience. I will also agree with Fred by saying that I think Erskine has, generally, been an absolute nightmare this season. 1 good game in 15 doesnt make a good player. As for folk moaning about players using Twitter? Seriously? I couldnt care less what the players do with their spare time. Cant really believe its even been raised as an issue.
  5. Man of the match away to QOTS too.
  6. Brilliant performance, brilliant result, brilliant atmosphere - Pure brilliant! Kyle Hutton will play for Scotland one day - cracking footballer.
  7. Looking to get in touch with a Stevie O'Rourke. Apparently the guy is a die hard jags fans and goes home and away. Anyone know him or know how to get in touch with him can you please pm me?
  8. 5?!?!? I think they will really struggle to get 1!
  9. They had an under 19s game tonight against Barcelona.....
  10. Stuart Holden? Perhaps slightly different as i think his folks moved over there prior to him going to college but still....
  11. Said at the game today that if Jackie were to go at any point this season then i would expect McCall to be in the running for it.....
  12. Would love to see him in a Jags jersey..... Still a wee c*ck though
  13. Flanagan has played as part of the midfield this season and should never start there ahead of Bannigan. I fully admit that I am not a fan of Flanagan at all as I think he is lazy, doesnt track back and sh*ts out of tackles far too much. (To be fair he had two decent tackles at the start of the game today and then faded back to his usual self)
  14. Sums it up perfectly i reckon. Glad hes gone though.
  15. Looked a far better player/option for the team than Flanagan ever has. Not having a go at Jackie but, IMO, he is wrong to pick Flanagan ahead of Bannigan.
  16. Heard him remarking to someone that McNamara had told him he was too fat and needed to shed some timber before he would be considered for first team.
  17. Would definitely take either (or both) of Greig Spence or Tony Watt.
  18. Was thinking more Gerry Collins era all over again.
  19. Agreed. Quite funny in parts and cant understand why anyone would have a problem with it.
  20. Sinclair played at left wing and Erskine at right. Both were utter gash.
  21. Looked to me like he simply ran/barged into the back of him. Stonewall penalty if thats the case no?
  22. Exactly how i see it. Praying we can scrape together some cash for a new striker.
  23. Dont really look like a partnership at all. They are perhaps too similar in style and, IMO, Doolan is a far better player so should start with someone else. Been saying all summer that we need a new striker to come in and today just served to reinforce that belief.
