The best compliment to Callum is "Aaron who ?" I'm delighted that we will be seeing him for a few more years, and with Muzzy on the other side we have 2 superb attacking fullbacks (or defensive wingers).

I am strangely optimistic after the last 2 results. The "Jaggy way" would be to have won both games (or Dundee to lose last night) so that we were sitting sixth now and be ours to lose .... which we would. This is different and the odds are probably against us, which makes me optimistic.

I think that Saints beating Hearts has probably blown our chance of 4th. If we make it, we are likely to be 5 or 6 points behind them post split, which will be tough to catch when 3 of the 5 games will be Celtic, Aberdeen and Hearts. But stranger Jaggy things have happened.

I'm not so sure that United won't catch Hamilton. They could easily be just 9 behind Hamilton going into the split.

A win and a draw in our next 2 games would be enough to set up a showdown in Dingwall. Whether that would be enough to also get ahead of Motherwell and Dundee would depend on other results (Motherwell away ICT and Dundee home Ross ... draw would be perfect). I think Saints are now out of sight pre-split.

I agree, but looking from his view, he is behind Muzzy for right back and probably 4th for central defence. He is likely to get an offer of more football from somewhere

I'll put my hand up. Been there so often with high hopes to have them dashed that I gave up at half time. Never criticised a Thistle player though
