  1. Do dogs need that much fibre in their diet ? (I'll grab my coat)
  2. Ach well. I didn't expect anything. Sounds as if we gave as good as we got but we made one mistake that mattered and they didn't.
  3. Has anyone heard any recent reports from his Airdrie games ? Does it look like he will be coming back in January to challenge Danny and Fred
  4. Each year he is doing better than the last. Keep doing that and we will win the Champion's League before he retires.
  5. Would those who criticise Stevenson prefer that he was playing for Dundee/Kilmarnock/St.Mirren/St.Johnstone ? I certainly wouldn't. He may not have hit the heights expected, but how often has he been played in his preferred position. Is it his fault that he is being asked to be a lone front man ? I think we saw yesterday what he can do when playing just behind Dools. If we can accomodate that role then I think that he could prove all of the Naesayers wrong.
  6. Adam was in napies the last time we got anything from Aberdeen. I have no expectations of this game being any different
  7. I don't care about his political views. Can he do a job for us ?
  8. could be 6 if it goes to a replay
  9. If it's Ozzy, he'll be off after 10 minutes when his glass legs give in again.
  10. BUgger me. This is against the team 4th in the league. We are up against the leaders on Saturday !
  11. Or he could just be a closet Celtic supporter with money to burn. Now that would be funny
  12. But what does he do with them without the club ? He may own all the assets, but he needs the club to get maximum revenue from them. What I'm certain of is that he has a plan. One way or the other, it will not be dull watching it play out.
  13. Don't think you are allowed to loan more than 2 players from any one club. UEFA rule to prevent exactly this sort of thing
  14. If his time at Newcastle is anything to go by then what we can say is that Ashley doesn't give a frig about the supporters. He has a captive customer base (it is not as if they are likely to transfer their custom to another brand) and he is certain to want to squeeze them for all he can get out of them. All he is interested in is profit. Whatever way you look at it, going into admin and therefore significant points deduction is not going to generate much profit. The obvious way to maximise profit is to get Rangers into Europe for the minimum cost and once there, seel the club on as a team pretty much guaranteed European football. It also meens that there will be a high player turn over with players bought cheep and sold on for profit,
  15. Would it not be safer for the bus to park it behind Foxy ? Otherwise the ball might hit the bus and could break a window.
  16. And you would have missed Peterhead then !
  17. There are more SPL footballers reported to be at the scene than you would see on the pitch on the average Saturday. Is this normal behaviour ? I know it was a Sunday night, but I would expect most to have training in the morning and it doesn't sound very professional to me.
  18. And they might look extremely shaky under another new manager
  19. That would have been far too sensible, but tradition has it that the Champions always kick off with a home fixture and that had to be maintained, even if it was going to be immediately postponed due to Celtic Park being used for the Commonwealth Games. Only in Scotland !
  20. Know what ..... We will get as many dodgy penalty decisions give to us as go against us. Get over it. Refs and linesmen are, in general, honest people who do their job as best they can. The do make mistakes as we all do and I will bet that the ref made no more than any of the Thistle players on Saturday. If there were no contentious decisions, football would be a very dull game with nothing much to talk about.
  21. Sorry, I misunderstood your original post and agree with what you say (other than Hamilton finishing top 6 - I think that they'll be found out soon)
  22. Can I ask, in those 48 years, how often have we come away with anything from Tanadice ? It's fair game to criticise the management after the St.Mirren and Kilmarnock games (and to an extent Hamilton, but events since have proven different) but the fact is that even if we had Mourinho as manager and Simeone as his assistant, we would still get nothing from Tanadice or Pitodrie. It is a long time since any manager kept us in the top flight for 2 seasons running and Archie is well on his way to doing just that. True, he has made some tactical errors (what manager hasn't) True, the squad could use more depth (what squad doesn't) Overall, he has earned the right to a bit of slack and while we are 6 points clear of relegation can't be accused of doing badly.
