  1. Each division has a player and manager of the month. A win for Archie would bring some well earned recognition for him and the team.
  2. I was about to add something similar. However I do think BBC do not serve Scotland well. They are part of the establishment, and they will keep the status quo of supporting others within the establishment - SFA and the 2 biggest clubs. We can complain to them though. The other media outlets are not much better, but we can simply stop reading or watching them. I've mentioned before BT taking a commentator off air because he complained about sectarian singing on a live broadcast. We have an opportunity within the forum to make our voice heard. We have done this recently with a message to the club about the refugee crisis. If we have an issue in future, we should ask as many people as possible to complain to the company involved. We will not set a change by doing nothing
  3. Thistle win, go above Kilmarnock and Archie picks up manager of the month Is there another contender for manager of the month?
  4. Thistle win, go above Kilmarnock and Archie picks up manager of the month. Only don't to above is St J manager may pip Archie.
  5. http://blogs.channel4.com/alex-thomsons-view/rangers-cheated-football-fraudulent-silverware/10066#more-10066 Interesting article from Alex Thomson from Channel 4 news. Don't hold your breath for the Scottish media to have a proper debate.
  6. Wonderful. I hope Archie sits the team down before our game on Saturday and show this film, provide the team with some inspiration and what can be achieved.
  7. I agree we have too many stupid dafties. But the man should not be banned for 2 years. We had another player with a social issue, pick up a 2 game ban for gambling. He has received help. I think the severity of the ban is absurd. He is not doing himself any favours, but he should not be banned for 2 years for taking illegal drugs.
  8. Drink driving is also illegal. As is singing racist songs. Believe me, he would not improve his game by taking cocaine.
  9. Gabriele Marcotti in yesterday's Sunday herald was praising the common sense on the English fa handling of Jake Livermore. He was threatened with a 2 year ban for using cocaine. But the point is cocaine is not a performance enhancing drug. He was not cheating. He was breaking the law, but how many drink drivers have been banned from football for 2 years?
  10. I sent a message to you earlier which may help with volunteers.
  11. The club are actively promoting the Aitken suite with away fans, but get Kingsley in at 12. More time for fans to get some food and spend money on the club.
  12. I'll repeat my statement from a previous post. I am sure football is not at the top of the agenda for refugees living in Glasgow, but I would like to see the club donate tickets. I would also extend the offer to people using food banks. We have enough room in our stadium to accommodate a fee hundred complimentary tickets. The gesture from the club may be rewarded in future as individuals see their situation improve.
  13. A great idea. I believe there is a planned meeting in Glasgow on the day of the Dundee game. Glasgow has many refugees and I would like the club to offer a number of tickets for our games. Many people living here are restricted from working whilst applications are processed. We certainly have enough spare capacity in our ground and some light relief won't hurt. Hold on, light relief at Firhill...
  14. I had a party in the suite on Saturday night. It was a great venue and kids were allowed in until 10 pm. Several friends were surprised it was open to away supporters before games. I also spoke with a member of staff today and was told away surporters are targeted for business. This could be a great pre match venue especially if the ideas listed by others are implemented. Food, better choice of drinks, family friendly, attendance by players and coaches. Improving the match day experience for all surporters will help to entice people back. Supporters are unlikely to hang about Maryhill after a game when they have the option of the west end, but pre match would appear to be a realistic target market.
  15. I would like to think it was Frank De Bruyne we misused out on.
  16. And my party starts at 7pm. I'll let you know my experience of the venue next week.
