I have to agree... with Iain and some of the other posts above. There is a lot of bad feeling for board and threats of jumping ship etc etc in the main based on speculation and seconding guessing there views. Look at how many fans have already jumped ship in recent years without any of this mess... so maybe again agree people looking for an excuse to join the others in the exodus. I am a Thistle fan(35 years) and I will support them who ever is at the top,my season ticket is bought, I may not always like what they do, but they at least have put themselves forward and are running the club and I would imagine at some personal cost. I actually think our current board and others are trying very hard to make things better, just look at all the offers they try and even when we lost our sponsor they sourced a new one within days. They also gave us some decent signings(could be proved wrong) at end of last season in building for this season. The problem we are faced is something we did not ask for or volunteer for incase people have forgotten... so it might well turn out that's Thistle's input to the outcome of this is not the one the board favoured or the fans. Lets just all see what happens on Friday and then move on and enjoy going to see The Jags in the coming season. The Jags need good positive supporters and what we don't need is the negative vibe that is festering away on here and at some home games, where some of you need to realise the level we play and and the level we pay players way to much expectation when I listen to some of the crap that is blurted out. Rant over lol Ok.. grammar police and smarmy army rip the post apart. COME ON THE JAGS!!!

I see what your saying... but come on.... that was torture... any team I have seen in recent years that is away with the league come and make it a game.. and at least play a bit.. their game plan = waste time and break up game with cynical fouls(cute with them) and moan and roll about the place.... no thanks... football and bore ball

totally agree with first post... A painful game to watch again v County..... solid enough team but with not much football in them at all... will be glad to see them get promoted.. and struggle, that brand of football(thats being polite calling it that) has no place in the game at any level. I really wonder where football is going if that sort of stuff is winning leagues.. time wasting and diving about and committing cynical fouls in all areas is acceptable to watch.. I feel they will be straight up and down and hopefully skint. Adams you can take that horrible brand of football you play and those tactics as far away as possible. We pay decent money to watch games these days.. ok..Jags are not or never will be Barcelona etc etc but at least we have a go and don't waste time for half a match etc etc BORING COUNTY good luck because you will need it. Ps as usual the ref was sh*t

very strange team selection today... did not seem to have any balance to it and when I saw it before kick off I feared the worst, poor poor season really.. hoping though between now and end of season we can pick up some wins.. but on this evidence.. not sure we will win many more this season.. a few passengers on the team and stealing a wage.. we need changes but financially we can't make them.. so I guess I will pipe down now and realise that's what we have got to live for the time being!! COME ON THE JAGS

I went to toilets on Saturday and the door was off its hinges, I did not notice and tried to close... near shit myself as it came towards me. Also on Saturday.. no pies left before half time.. total joke... the catering recently at Firhill has been a shambles.. do not understand why club do not try and make a few extra quid and run this for themselves.. mark up on fast food is huge. All in all I will always go along.. but I am not the problem... the problem is fans who used come week in week and also the ones who might take a punt on few games a season and turn up.. if they have a good day or experience whatever you want to call it.. they will for sure return. Having said that.. we need the team to be performing and getting up league challenging.. look at the crowds even in 2nd div when we were winning on a regular basis.. no brainer.. improve the football product and fans will return. Come the Jags!!!

it is not the managers fault.... get a grip. THE PLAYERS SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS EMBARRASSMENT. THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO BEAT A NON LEAGUE SIDE EVEN WITH NO TACTICS FROM A MANAGER. ON A POSITIVE NOTE... LEAST WE ARE NOT OUT THE CUP.

im glad we don't watch the jags playing against that negative crap every week, also the cynical fouls and time wasting.. even in the 1st half!! doubt they will win league, having said that probably with the size of there squad you never know. boring county poor jags show though

Q Would you know a football player if he hit right between the eyes? He left us and had several successful seasons in SPL !!! Do not really remember him having very many bad games for us... tried very hard and scored a few and at the time was playing in a very average team. Bit like Jamie Langfield.. got dogs abuse for no reason... and went to bigger club and was there number 1 for a good few seasons.... I seriously think some fans have blinkers on and favourites... some players can't do no wrong no matter how crap.... and then others make one mistake and its serial abuse every time they walk on the pitch. COME ON THE JAGS!!!

yes.. sweet left peg but always from my memory was carrying a bit.... decent player though!!!
