  1. Nope For some odd reason I get to moderate this forum. You can say what you want as long as it does't bust forum rules. Capiché ? I thought not.
  2. Could someone clarify for me what this arguement is supposed to be about? The Weirs, who have kept this club alive, who are making us a training facility are the bad and evil folk around here? May I suggest to you idiots that they are heroes and heroines and that you, ladies and gentlemen, are trash babies? Well, yes I can. Those of you who recognise yourselves as scum should fuck off, right now. Those that think they are on a heroic course will perhaps finally pull me down. Let the game begin!
  3. jlsarmy, This is really, really worrying. I agree with you. Epecially your comment here: " The clock is ticking on Caldwell , he’s done nothing to justify his arrogance." Neither have the players.
  4. jlsarmy, "The arrogance of Caldwell is beyond belief ." Maybe. The jury is out, I think. And that is a good thing, It was pretty unconvincing, what he said.
  5. Somewhat dark. Has Alan Rough got a son or a daughter? If he has they should be in the Thistle Youth Academy right now. He was our best ever goalkeeper. And it might pass down the genereations, or not. Sorry, Binge watching 'Gotham' Still, Does he? Perhaps the board should investigate? Perhaps Alan Rough should investigate? Or is talent limited to a single generation? Who is the son of Messi? Perhaps no-one, but the child will try, I'd expect. Is talent a single generational 'thing' or not? I don't know. Neither do you. Thoughts?
  6. Probably not. Give the guy another month and he might pull it around. I hope he does it. At the moment I am a tad worried that he can't. This has been a surprisingly bad season for PTFC, and I for one, cannot see an easy way out of this disaster.
  7. Sadly, the Gary Caldwell story has to be over. This is a double relegation in the making. No club, apart from ours, would countenance this.
  8. Dear Javajag, " Thesis-Antithesis....synthesis " is pretty much dialectical materialism. " Dialectical connection", from, say our providers to our strikers, which has been somewhat missing this season? If, my friend, you can translate dialectical connection onto a team that ought to be doing better, well, most fans would be with you. I know I would.
  9. Is O'dea even a possibility for us? In any case, we need a right back, and I don't know whether Darren O'Dea could fulfill that position, Perhaps he can. In a 4 -3-3, sort of formation. If he can, it would enhance our defensive armoury quite a bit, Because we are weak on crosses. Just saying.
  10. I am a wee bit puzzled about the relative freedom to publish video highlights between Falkirk and us. If it is exact the same time how come there are two posts above this referencing Falkirk sources and no Thistle sources quoted above? Second half commentary from our chums at Jagzone, suggest a substantially different late second half. I am obviously asking for a friend.
  11. I hope he works out. We are in desperate need of a new direction and, perhaps a new right back? Dunno. Hope he turns it around.
  12. Is our Chris aware that his image is being sold commercially? Perhaps.
  13. Sivad, Your post suggests that no-one has a clue. I certainly haven't a scoobie.
  14. Would like to see Scott Gemmill apply and be seriously considered. He has considerable experience with younger players and that is what we are going to need for the future?
  15. I have followed this thread through thick and thin. There are times when it was like a ghost ship with nothing whatsoever happening. Those of you that kept it alive, I salute you! This is an incredible outcome, for the player himself, those on the board that were willing to take a position, and whoever was advising us on the legal position.
  16. Fascinating to see what happens next. Have Thistle ever previously had any case whatsoever before FIFA? I suppose a month is not too long to wait. It is a bit like a lottery ticket, you win none and you lose the rest. But you keep on hoping.
  17. lady-isobel-barnett, Thanks for telling me about Sena. Was completely unaware of him or his story. I really hope the lad does well.
  18. I kind of hope that The 'policemans whistle' is right. Though the longer this drags out, the less confident I become. Call me a pessimist, why don't you? An update from the club, whether positive or negative, would be much appreciated by us mere fans. Their silence, or have I missed something, is not reassuring.
  19. This is just going around in circles. Dunno what to make of it. A club statement might be useful?
  20. I am getting a bit worried that there is no news. Perhaps the Egyptian FA are not convinced that everything is OK? I have no idea, anyone else more clued up than me?
  21. GPT, I am with you. Been clicking around here waitin' for news!
  22. I hope that PTFC have taken serious legal advice on this situation. At first blush it seems wrong to me that a footballer, or anyone else for that matter, can be held prisoner by an employer. However, if he has been paid in advance for services to be rendered, that muddy's the water a bit. There are contracts floating around that stop an ex-employee from working for another, rival, firm, usually time constrained. I assume that that applies to footballers as much as to nuclear scientists? I hope we get this all cleared up. He would be an exciting signing.
  23. Thanks guys, I was obviously clueless. So, from the clueless one, who y gonna call? England or Columbia?
