  1. Which means you spoke too soon. Never heard of the power of the dumb comment?
  2. I think Fraser was well treated by Archie and he's a lucky boy, but I think he's got a bit to go before he'll be trusted for Scotland. I'm saying that without having seen the incident, but that goes for most people.
  3. To drop Banzo now suggests that he doesn't have much clue about what's going on. Maybe he watches Sportscene

For my part, I'd probably go for the upgrade membership (over and above the season ticket). I also think my Dad and my Uncle, who aren't season ticket holders but attend regularly, would join, probably on the basic (they don't do the forum so I'm voting on their behalf). And I think the prices are fair and reasonable, and if they exclude some people (which they will, whatever you charge) then it's unfortunate, but it doesn't stop them from being valued members of the Thistle family. I might even buy my nomad brother a membership for his Christmas. Can membership be purchased as a "package" (ie for a year starting from any date)?
  5. All these young guys starring on loan in the lower leagues. We're a proper big team!

    Actually, Maggie May be gone.
  7. Obviously the loan players, Prince, Erskine, Moncur and Taylor are up at end of this season. Also Osbourne, Lawless, ATS and Mair. Most are signed til end of next season. Fraser for one extra year. Elliott and Craigen both on five year deals.
  8. Crap name. It's the Banzo. Sorry.
  9. I though Welsh signed a two year contract
  10. My Dad's from Easter Ross and Ross County was always our favourite Highliand League team before they came into the SFL.Still have a lot of family up there, my cousins actually work directly for Roy McGregor and he seems to be a pretty decent guy. And yet I really can't stand Ross County, and it's all down to that horrible wee guy they've got managing them. He makes me want to punch the telly.
  11. Just watched bbc highlights. I know I'm biased but there seemed to be a lot of Thistle highlights missing. Taylor's chance at end of first half, his shot over the bar from ATS pass (which was a great move) and his late shot into the side netting. Plus the handball penalty claim and the penalty claim when ATS ran into their defender at the edge of the box (though I didn't think it was). Also reckon Stuart Bannigan's turn was worthy of a showing. Compared to that every Aberdeen chance seemed to be covered. It's like it was either edited by an Aberdeen fan or Lyle Taylor. By the way, Gary Fraser tackle and pass for third goal, and the finish. Sheer class. Reminiscent of Paton to Erskine against Raith Rovers last season.
  12. Might help his confidence. I get the impression that Conrad's one who thrives on the love of the fans. Strangely I decided to watch him at every attacking corner yesterday. I must have had a feeling that something was going to happen.
  13. I don't know. I'm looking a post split fixtures of Celtic, Aberdeen, Motherwell, Dundee United and ICT
  14. The Cup is half empty, yet he's full of something.
  15. Should have had six. Only kidding, sort of. But imagine if he had.

Good to hear some positive talk on this. I can't really claim to be anything more than a match day fan, haven't ever taken more involvement than that, and all respect to those who do. As an outsider I'd just like to see goodwill between all parties because I tend to believe that, regardless of whether it's a valid excuse, increased workload is probably the reason for the problems and any mistakes are probably honest ones. I'm sure things will progress better if everyone's on the same side and not blaming or finger pointing. Good relations between players, fans and club appear to have been a big part of our recent successes. That's not to say that challenging, focused questions, where necessary, aren't valid.
  17. I didn't even notice Paulett yesterday, and we've struggled to cope with him in other games. Not sure if this is down to any one player, tactics or just him having an off day, but credit to whoever.
  18. I really struggle read your posts. Is it great wisdom that I'm missing out on?
  19. Agreed. But you really need to keep the quote thingies on, or you may be mistaken for a spouter. Personally very pleased that Craigen was on against Morton and Elliott on against Airdrie, to score my favourite Thistle goals in many years. Also hope to see both having a great future with the Jags, as I think they represent everything that's good about this squad.
  20. Great team, legend in charge, everyone's learning to cope with this league, and stability from the board. I know people have some complaints about the board but in terms of managerial appointments they've played a blinder and I think this message at this stage is bang on. The team needs to play without fear and this message from the top will help them to do this.
