  1. Scotstoun isn't much harder to get to, though. A train to Scotstounhill and a five/ten minute walk is all that's needed. It takes longer to get to Firhill from the city centre/Subway station and the trains are every fifteen minutes. For games against Edinburgh I'm sure Scotstoun would be able to hire out another temporary stand if they needed to and would make a profit from it. I can only echo that it looks excellent with the stands up. It looked amazing with the floodlights on last night too.
  2. Aye? That's the one I was meaning. I've never been in but I've only heard bad things about it. It was the owner and the workers who were cnuts according to my mates. Fair enough if it's changed hands, though.
  3. This season's kit sponsor was MacB. It doesn't matter who or what the sponsor is - as long as we get money for it I'm happy.
  4. Dumbarton is a cheap away trip but it's shite, really. There are very few pubs - one right outside Dumbarton East (which is appalling), the supporter's bar (which is all right) and there are two in the town centre, right next to each other, but they're in the opposite direction of the ground if you get off at Dumbarton Central. I'd like them to go up 'cause I have a few mates who support them, but for the trip itself, it doesn't look too good.
  5. Did I read on this forum that people thought Cairney didn't bring anything to the squad? Perhaps not those words- but they were happy for him to leave.
  6. Brilliant. Hopefully I should be able to get involved this year. Graft.
  7. I can understand he's got a lot of potential and he's looked good the past few games, but he was used very sparingly in the first half of the season. I know he was on loan last season at Ayr United (helping them to promotion via the play-offs and most of their fans rated him really highly) but I don't think it would have done any harm to have loaned him out again if we we're going to use him. Experience is vital.
  8. He doesn't have a Wikipedia page. He doesn't exist until then. I'm sorry, but that's the rules. Hope he can do well. It doesn't take much to be better than any of the tall strikers we've had recently...
  9. It doesn't really matter, but I think that third would be achievable. A few Falkirk fans seem to think that they're gradually getting worse, and we still need to play them at Firhill. We also seem to have improved a bit recently, so who knows. Not that it really matters, bar a slight difference in the money we receive for finishing.
  10. http://www.scotrail.co.uk/marchmadness Half-price train tickets for March, if booked in (more than) two hours advance. We play Falkirk on Saturday and QOTS next week, so a cheaper return on the train may entice you. Check out the T&C first though!
  11. Gregory van der Wiel. Right-back for Ajax.
  12. I stopped reading the thread at the bit in bold. No.
  13. Benefits: Jelly and ice cream. I like both of these things. Negatives: It's too cold for ice cream outside so I need to eat it at home.
  14. That was stupid of you, mate. There was even a thread posted about our game being cancelled. Do your research first.
  15. I was playing fives tonight, and one of the guys looked a little like Nigel Clough and another like Clint Dempsey. You had to be there or you have to know them, though.
  16. It's a shame Sashi Chalwe was not in the Zambia squad. I have him as a mate on Facebook, after one incredible Football Manager game, and said he should come sign for Partick Thistle since he's without a club. He said he'd be interested in playing in the UK but nothing has happened yet. One day...
  17. Well up for this. It would be extremely beneficial.
  18. I have a spare ticket for The Twilight Sad gig on Thursday if anyone's up for it. £12.
  19. To help the club you support keep afloat, or is that not good enough?
  20. Looks like we're losing on Saturday then.
