You’re right , but after scrapping teams in the Weir Academy due to cost it’s not looking promising in paying off McCall and Co anytime soon. Need leadership at Board Level to push our Club forward, we patently haven’t got that .

The trouble we have LIB is we probably can’t afford to pay off the 3 on the management team . If you remember when Archibald was relieved of his duties he was put on “ gardening leave “ because they couldn’t give him his pay off at the time .

How many transfer windows has McCall had now and our Club is no further forward . We’ve got some good players at the Club but not getting the best from them . Get rid of an assistant manager and get a fitness coach back , not sure Junior Mendez was ever properly replaced when he went back to St Mirren. IMO with the style McCall wants us to play with 2 full backs high up the pitch , the rest of the team aren’t fit enough to play a pressing game .

Having been at Ayr during the week , Darren Brownlie shouldn’t be anywhere near the team until he gets himself fit .

Agree with you , no idea what they do at Firhill during the week, is there a fitness coach anymore? Darren Brownlie is carrying an extra stone in weight and struggling for mobility as was shown tonight . Surely the first prerequisite for a professional football player is that they are physically fit regardless of ability. Re tactics tonight and a lot this must come down to McCall , there must be times when we have to sit in a bit , the amount of times Harry Milne was caught out up the park with no defensive cover was beyond belief . No use to us AJ , our Academy is a complete and utter waste of time , no genuine path for our youngsters to make the first team , got a manager who would rather develop Sevco youngsters, pick up journeymen pros like Cammy Smith , Lee Hodson , Danny Mullen etc . Lads like Stanway , Zander McKenzie, Billy Owens and Lyons deserve a chance to find out whether they can make the grade at Firhill but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen with the dinosaur that is Ian McCall .

Read the James Cairney interview , the famous 5 came across defensive and agressive The interviewer never asked what their vision was for the Club etc , the plans for the Academy What happened last week with the transfer of shares was a pointless exercise, the famous 5 have no clout at the running or the future of our Club

You don’t think coming from a home crowd of approximately 500 supporters that they won’t get more through the turnstiles to watch better quality on the park ? To a lesser extent than us for example there will be a latent support that will start turning up again to watch a successful team , not 5000 supporters by any manner of means but I’m sure it will be more than they get just now . Not sure if you’re only basing their crowd numbers on their perceived ambitions. Think you can see what is happening there with Leanne Dempster at the helm , Willie Haugheys ‘ wealth , the calibre of players that they’re trying to sign . It won’t happen overnight but you can see that they’re trying to map their future.

If they’ve got someone like Willie Haughey bankrolling them , they’ve every chance to be the third team in Glasgow . Success on the park will undoubtedly increase their fan base Clyde never had anybody bankrolling them With our disfunctional board and their lack of foresight on and off the park there is every chance that Q Park will end up the 3rd team in Glasgow

Agree with you LIB , boycotting games and even hitting our Club financially ( Sponsorship, Hospitality etc ) isn’t really going to make the slightest bit of difference because the main thing is Jaqui Lowe etc don’t really have a love for the Club as we do on here . As far as I know Jaqui Lowe , Alan Rough etc have had no financial input but became directors through their contacts , not really sure what they bring to the table? At least previous chairmen Beattie, Oliver , McMaster and even as far back as Miller Reid all had a love for our great Club and put their money where their mouth was . Seems Jaqui Lowe is on some sort of power trip , we don’t want another Save the Jags scenario by cutting our Club off financially as none of the other directors will bale us out . By all means target J Lowes primary Company Indigo or have a protest outside the ground on match days but making it financial will only damage our Club in the long term IMO

Was proud of our team today , special mentions to Stevie Lawless who was great today and also Kyle Turner who stuck at it as a makeshift right back . Brilliant result

Wow 3 players in 15 years and we didn’t even get 1 million quid between the 3 of them and Jack Hendry was actually developed by Dundee United.
