  1. Great idea Been trying to push this saturdays game as well on Celtic, Airdrie and Everton forum. Though dont think the Cetic forum I was on was one of the main ones
  2. Well done to all who organised this. Was there many who went?
  3. Yoda I take it this is no relation to the houlier than tho ICT who were branding Partick Thistle Scotlands disgrace for not being happy about having to spend £1 million t upgrade to 10,000 seats why they did not
  4. What was the Thistle squad for this game? Any ideas who scored for us?
  5. Has anyone emailed the Daily Record to ask how they know and why Brechin City have issued a statement saying no in contradiction to what the Record stated?
  6. Although they no probably voted no I cant see anything on the Morton, Dundee or Falkirk website actually confirming that they specifically did
  7. Lets hope they are wrong Big time
  8. I had made a promise to but an extra Gold Centenary Fund membership if the club had voted no as a show of support for what I believe to be the correct decision and congratulating them on it. So I had sent an email to the club and have got a response from Ian Maxwell thanking me for the support etc. Ian Maxwell is a guy I trust 100% and is an asset to the club. This along with the email from David Beattie, now the fact I am struggling to find Falkirk and Dundee's confirmation as a poster already stated there has been maybe an agreement amongst some fo the clubs to keep a silence and perhaps as Double Ugly suggested a chance to make a point from Beattie and co leaves me certain that we voted no. Statement and decision could have been handled far better but I will submit new centenary fund membership form.
  9. Did Falkirk and Dundee not come out and state where they voted?
  10. For what its worth this is the email I got from David Beattie last week and I thiought seemed to maybe indicate a no vote: Sent: 05 July 2012 14:37 To: Curry Matthew Subject: Re: No to Newco Hi Matthew There are some major decisions ahead for the whole of Scottish Football. I fear very much for our Scottish game. The Rangers demise has set a chain of events that may have cataclysmic financial consequences for many football clubs, thankfully not PTFC, as we have been very frugal over the last few years. As you know we will vote NO and i believe that will be the correct thing to do and we, as a member of the SFL should not have been put into a situation where it was our responsibility to decide on the financial effect of having or not having Rangers in a top league - that should be the SFA's responsibility. I fervently believe the reconstruction of Scottish Football is well overdue and we should be passionately discussing and voting on the detail of that issue and putting a timeline to achieve change. I really do hope the Jags fans can concentrate on the great things that are happening at the club and get behind Jackie and the team. Remember that every penny the fans put into the club, be it Season Tickets, programmes, 50/50 draw, Centenary Fund etc. has a direct impact on Jackie's playing budget. I thank you for your kind words and support. Now what has happened since then - Has David Beattie lost control of his marbles? Have since then Partick Thistle been threatened in some way ie vote newco into sfl1 or we will buy you over since its unlikely they could afford Ibrox in either division three or one Firhill would be an ideal choice? Or the option I most hope for they have voted no and just issued another not very good statement on the website
  11. I know this is the problem some rumours also naming East Stirlingshire and Albion Rovers as voting yes to newco
  12. Have you emailed the club asking for clarification?Seemingly I got Rahmans comments wrong he didnt say Hamilton wre the only club to vote yes
  13. Rahman on STV stating that Hamilton Accies were the team who voted yes in the first divison
  14. Are we now the second biggest team in Glasgow and can Queens Park now take position as the third biggest team in the city
  15. They certainly habe played it brilliantly and won a few more fans as well. Celtic supporter at my worksay he and his mates are going along to watch them any time that Celtic are away and they will be supporting other teams like Queens Park who vote no, maybe we will get a few more bodies along if we do the same thing.Thats not to say Celtic fans are not being hypocritical it just helps illustrate how many new friends teams like Clyde are making
  16. Must be some financial benefit I would have thought mate no way we could afford to let them there for free. This club needs every penny it can get.
  17. Motherwell may have said no becausethey know fine well that Newco were getting put into divison one and they have been as much a part of the corrupt SPL as anyone else
  18. His column is a disgrace. Additionally he doesnt even appear to realise Rangers are no more, the club replacing them is not Rangers is a plastic franchise
  19. They hate it even more if you ask them if Newco will be playing in Royal Blue like Rangers used too
  20. Just out of curiosity though What about though if as I am pretty sure will happen that Partick Thistle vote no? Would it not be better to boycott newco and teams that voted for them rather than a no voting Thistle mate?
  21. Pretty sure mate it is going to be a definite no mate regardless of whether its friday, next tuesday or thursday
  22. When is their vote? Has any decision been made on either Dundee or Dunfermline going into the SPL
