  1. I doubt he would have noticed, he didn't seem to notice much else. He ran about lost today. Management are to blame as well as some senior players for not getting a grip and giving some direction. However I just don't see what he offers. Lightweight and not good enough. He's been in the first team long enough now to show what he can do. If the choice is between him and Amoo then we have some real concerns. How can you give a man of the match to someone who's barely touched the ball apart from their second goal and offered next to nothing? The sponsors are to blame for the reaction of the crowd as it was sheer disbelief.
  2. Why? Why not have a go at sponsors who were clearly taking the piss?
  3. The jeering and ridicule was aimed at the sponsors not the player. It was a total joke though. He offered absolutely nothing. Only Amoo has been a worse passenger this season. Archie should have hooked him for Wilson. Having seen McDaid in most games he's played, I just don't see him being good enough.
  4. People are wetting themselves over that??? Seriously??? The way some folk are going on, it's as if he bowed multiple times and shook everyone's hand in the crowd. He acknowledged the reception he got very briefly and looked pretty pissed off as he trudged off. As he should when his team were losing.
  5. Actually I don't have any problem with the comps and seats. The area is behind the directors box and I can understand why it would be sealed off. If it had been off limits I would have accepted it no problem. But not under the circumstances, 15 mins before kick off after standing for the best part of 40 mins and getting turfed out off my seat in the JHS. No way. The steward seemed to be the only one who had the foresight to ask the questions.
  6. Same here. I walked in at 11:40 to ensure I got to choose seats and make the best of a bad situation. Saw the steward and asked him if it was sit anywhere, including the padded seats behind the directors box. He said he had asked and was told unkitted players and family were to be in the area, but no-one had told him numbers so he was keeping the first two rows free. Seemed very sensible. Then at 12:15 we were told we would have to move. We refused. There's no way I was getting papped out my seat in the JHS to be told by the club to get in early to get where we wanted to sit, then ask a steward nearly an hour before kick off to be moved agin with 15 mins to go. The suited guy eventually relented but I could see him with his head in his hands as it started filling up. What happened was that around 20 people stood at the back and had no seat at all which I thought was a breach of health and safety regulations for that stand. Utter shambles - and not unexpected since this was announced. Latest in a constant stream of admin **** ups. I don't blame the steward at all. Seemed he had done the sensible thing but yet again organisation left a lot to be desired. And I hated being in that stand. The pillars and seat space were terrible.
  7. Haven't noticed this anywhere. Scared off by Creepy Kingsley. A good day to bury bad news....
  8. Just complete and utter bollocks. I've already given them £308 to be turfed out of what I consider to be one of the best seats in the stadium, and purchased since 1994 when the filth come calling, and maybe not just for them. So I should give them £25 for something that is free (through the choice of the club) because they can't manage an electronic system that would involve a 2 minute spreadsheet check to see who uses their seat or not if its in a 'prime' location? It's either free or it's not. Stop pissing around and do things properly.
  9. Now under investigation by the FBI
  10. I'm sorry but this is just bollocks. The point is not if the JHS ST holders can be accommodated- it's how to give supporters who are being inconvenienced some sort of payback by allowing them to make the best of a bad deal by getting a say in where they are being dumped. PATG fans don't make an investment at the start of the season (for whatever reason, personal finances, can't make games etc) so to try and give some sort of priority to people who are not being inconvenienced, and haven't given the club a large lump sum at this start of the season is madness. Yet again another poorly implemented plan by the club which raises more questions than answers. And as this would cause time and effort by the admin yet another reason why it won't work.
  11. I'm really laughing at that last sentence. Seriously. The club are appalling at how they deal with tickets for big games, planning and customer service and have been for years. Some examples; 1. Cup game against Sevco a few years back (Damon Gray game). Asked specifically not to be put anywhere near the sons of Mordor. Assured I would not be. Turned up on the night and sat next to the barrier and stewards separating us, which was not pleasant, despite the result. 2. Replay of above cup game. Was told I could not have my season ticket seat because the police had told the club to sell tickets block by block. Asked for a seat further up the block - refused as the police apparently insisted they be sold as they came. I happened to know the match commander for that game and I asked him about this. He said this was rubbish "why would the Police tell a home team how to sell their fans tickets? As long as blocks near away fans were sold last for crowd control, what did it matter?" When I brought this to clubs attention I was then told it cost too much in admin to sell specific seats, so they changed their story to suit themselves. 3. Challenge Cup final. 6th in the queue for a ticket on the Monday they went on sale. Asked for a seat up the back. Refused. Ended up with a seat right at the corner flag with a steward in the way most of the game. Quite frankly I don't trust the club to sort this out or have a plan in place. They don't care about fans, it's all about the office staff and if their life is easier. My point, as others have pointed out, is as far as I'm concerned I have the best seat in the house and guaranteed for the big games. Now next season I will have a restricted view or have people refusing to sit in their seats in the North Stand so my 80 year old dad can actually see the game - and are likely to be very aggressive about refusing a polite request to sit as has happened at a number of away grounds the last couple of years. The club could knock say £15 of an no OF season ticket, and potentially make more money if I then pay £26 to see one OF game or even more if we get Celtic twice and Rangers come up. But no - they produce a mythical figure and then refuse to look at any other option. I'll be looking at the pricing of new season tickets very closely and thinking hard before if I renew. Especially the cost of the £25 for reserving a kids seat - to me there is no justifying the price of this if they are free at the gate and the policy is to throw supporters out into other stands when the old firm come calling. There is no crowd control issue then; if it's a cost issue FFS you have the names and addresses of those supporters who haven't picked them up. Deal with them! The club should remember, if we get relegated one/two divisions again it won't be Celtic/Rangers fans money they'll be looking to get - it'll be mugs like me who been buying season tickets for the last 30 years. Effectively the way I feel is that they have basically said they value the speculative cash of Celtic and Rangers supporters for the best seats in the house above their core support. It's a dangerous path, and who's to say it's restricted to those two teams. What if by some miracle Aberdeen could win the league at Firhill - you can bet your bottom dollar the fans would be punted again....
  12. Let me spell it out for you: BECAUSE ITS THE LAST GAME OF THE SEASON THIS WEEK AND THERE WILL BE NO OTHER OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO.
  13. Well you started the thread so I would suggest it seems more important to you to do it at the last home game - and you're the one who made a big deal of it!!!
  14. I will because it's the LAST GAME of the season and I'll go to see the jags regardless of if it's got meaning or not. What part of that don't you understand?
  15. Bully for you. As it's the last game of the season on Saturday then yes I will go. If just to sing "We'll Meet Again...." Saturday wasn't last game of the season. Quite happy to go to Fir Park and show my appreciation for the season.
  16. Last game of the season is next week. It was freezing cold, we were rank, the Killie players and crowd would be celebrating. It wasn't like it was a pleasant kick about in the sun with a good result. I'll applaud the players next week thanks and not put up with shite that some people believe is compulsory simply because it's the last home game.
  17. Damn right. Also the wording of the letter made me angry. "We're asking...." No you're not, you're telling. Asking means I have a choice. If there is an option of non OF season ticket then fine, in fact they'll probably make more money from me if I pay for those games. If not they can shove it and I'll pay when I turn up on a game by game basis or even buy the 5 game packages. Whilst the season ticket may allow planning for the team, at well over £300 for my cash I expect some decent value too. I had to miss the Celtic game last year due to work and so didn't get the benefit of the most expensive home game on my ticket after the postponement. They can shove the £25 rip off season ticket for kids who are free at the gate too. Where's the justifying that now?
  18. Was that after Gretna scored the 4th in a 4-0 victory - when lining up to restart Tosh took up his position on the left wing after taking pelters all game and asked us "Do you watch this shite every week?"
  19. You quite clearly have no idea what you're talking about. As for Strachan, he's just another example of some of the reprehensible human beings that are part of the population of Glasgow.
  20. Right. So local plod wouldn't recognise a convicted criminal with previous the length of your arm? If you turn up at a house whilst it's being searched you're either stupid beyond belief or probably involved in the suspected criminality in some way. Either way you're getting checked out.
  21. I hardly think that there's no reason to search him considering his previous record. Reasonable suspicion I think.
  22. Never mind punditry. One of the worst players to pull on a Thistle strip ever.
  23. He caught my eye when he played against Motherwell last week. And not for good reasons.
