  1. Too little, too late for the title but that’s pleasing!
  2. 2-0 1-1 3-1 1-0 2-0 1-2 0-0 1-2 Belgium/Germany 5 15
  3. Aye sorry I’m an idiot, thought you got points if your favourite team won - no matter what you actually predicted. Cheers.
  4. Should I not have got a favourite bonus in match day 2 btw? For Germany? 0-2 0-2 0-3 2-1 2-1 0-2 1-2 1-1 1-1 3-0
  5. Can I predict the rest of match day 3 now? First time online for a while, missed the deadline sorry.
  6. In an ideal world, I think we're 5 short: replacements/competition for Sneddon and Bell, another right-back, attacking midfielder/winger and striker. If McCall is adamant we're only signing 4 then we could maybe do without another striker. It looks a decent enough starting eleven just now - just needs a bit more quality in the squad. Sneddon Foster - Brownlie - Bell - Holt Docherty - Turner - Bannigan Rudden ---------- Tiffoney Graham McCready, McKenna, O'Ware, Niang, Gordon, Murray, MacIver.
  7. 1-0 2-0 1-1 1-2 3-0 3-0 2-0 2-1 2-0 4-0 0-4 1-1
  8. He's already signed a pre-contract with Raith Rovers.
  9. I was excited about Declan Glass signing on loan and then he got injured for the season - might we be in for him again? Is he good enough for the Championship?
  10. Germany for me, thanks. 0-2 0-2 2-0 3-1 2-1 2-0 3-1 2-1 1-0 1-1 1-3 1-2
  11. O'Donnell didn't come from Annan (I think you're confusing him with Aaron Muirhead - who convinced me in that 2012/13 season that he'd eventually get Scotland caps!). He came through Aberdeen & Celtic's youth systems before signing his first professional contract with us. Hendry did make first team appearances for us. 5, including Premiership starts v Celtic and Motherwell.
  12. So, 4-5 new signings once everyone has been retained (let’s include Bell & Tiffoney in that) would probably be: GK, CB (Mulgrew?) AM/W AM/W ST (Dobbie?) With the AM/W positions fitting a similar profile to Tiffoney; exciting young flair players.
  13. Would be happy for him to stay too, but if it helps us get Tiffoney (ie. our right to compensation cancels out their right to compensation), then I wouldn’t be too upset.
  14. Or the end of Penrice as a Thistle player.
  15. I’d be disappointed if Sneddon doesn’t start the season. When we brought in Hazard I thought Sneddon was the better of the two, and Alloa fans don’t seem to rate Wright.
  16. Archibald, Murray, Rowson, Craig. There’s still a place for old pros in a young squad. Can play both full-back positions, has been playing in the Premiership and is better than Williamson. No brainer for me.
  17. I don’t think we’ll win this case, but I don’t see us getting a severe punishment either. The SPFL haven’t handled this as well as they should have and for that reason I have my doubts the SFA will go in heavy handed. Technically it looks like we broke an SFA rule and I think we’ll get a small fine for that. Lose at arbitration and go ahead in League One next season with a bitter taste in the mouth.
  18. I’d assume we’ll be picking up free agents which you can do whenever (I think? Or at least after the transfer window slams shut).
  19. Brownlie, Sena, Docherty, Lyons, Rudden, Graham still seem fresh. Sneddon and Penrice young enough to go on with, which leaves O’Ware and Bannigan who will surely be good enough for League One, Williamson and Gordon big question marks remain, and Mansell who I’d like to see go.
  20. With an October start are we likely to make the bulk of our signings in September?
  21. I only made it along to about 8 matches last season but from what I saw the problem with Cardle for me wasn’t that he went into hiding, it was that he tried too hard to do it all himself. Not sure he has it in him anymore, even at League One level.
  22. Was happy when we signed Slater but can’t say I’m sad he’s gone. Hasn’t made enough of an impact in his time here. Looking forward to seeing Lyons (and Sena) next season. Let’s just hope we’re giving them Championship football. The Brownlie signing should help that - back to 4 at the back and hope he strikes up a good partnership with O’Ware, who’s been disappointing so far.
