Well, we haven't done to well recently against teams down the arse end of the league but we have managed three(?) wins versus a poor Arbroath side this season. They have had a large turnover of players since January so may have a few new faces up front and may offer more of a threat than before. I assume we will have a nearly full squad to select from but I doubt Dools will change to much, apart from maybe Graham coming in for Dowds. Will be another tough spectacle but Kris and Paul will have the players well prepared, up for the contest and at the end of the day we get the win that matters.

The decision was taken after the Cove game. That is fairly common knowledge. So you are correct, but didn't need such a lot of deduction. McCall was genuinely shocked so it wouldn't have been in place for any longer than the week before as things have a habit of leaking at football clubs. As I stated, seems a member of current board didn't buy into what McCall was achieving. As did many fans. We move on.

Being pedantic, but McCall has not been sacked, but as stated "Partick Thistle FC have this evening relieved Ian McCall, Alan Archibald and Neil Scally, of their duties in relation to the first team with immediate effect." I assume this is to stop the renewal of the 12 month rolling contract, initially. Also, doesn't mean a severance package won't be agreed but means the club don't need to pay out a lump sum at the moment.
