The manager got extra funds last year and we scraped into the playoffs and went out with a whimper. I wouldn't be doing the same this year. We should/ could finish better this season but not worth speculating on. In general, not much activity anywhere in the division. I'd rather kept our squad together than buy shite like Ally Roy.

At least the cash Gates will keep some happier even if it tends to delay entry. I suppose in some ways it's better one way or the other as Stenny became a bit of a free for all with both available on last couple of visits.

We only have McCall, the two assistants and Kenny Arthur as GK coach as far as I'm aware. . Stenhousemuir binned their nanager and coaching stuff a month or so ago and they had 6 or 7 departures. We possibly need more help on the coaching side rather than less.

Can't argue with the result. Queens Park started brightly and their forwards were carrying the ball into the final third and indeed the Thistle box with ease and grabbed the opener. Was mostly Thistle and looked decent in patches but Ferrie only had one good save and Hodson rattled the woodwork early in the second half. We huffed and puffed but it was QP who blew out the lights of the contest with a nice goal on the break.. Big win for the home(from hone) team and we are looking at the playoffs rather than the title but perhaps more twists and turns to come. Usual shambles at the turnstiles and it took about half an hour to get a pie apparently. On a slightly more serious note I headed down the stairs at the back of the shed and went on my c**t on black ice. Luckily just burst my arm a wee bit and nothing broken but you'd think they'd have at least scattered some grit on them? Hopefully everyone else got out without mishap.

Why do they (Queens Park)wait until the day of the match to announce this? Did this at last game and the cashgates were moving faster than the ticket ones as some fans as usual struggled to use the scanners/ their mobile devices. Anyway, get them and C*yle pumped Thistle. Thank you.

Reading between the lines doesn't seem like we will see many, if any, new signings coming into the club. Maybe a squad filler if we move Akinola and can't agree a deal with Hodson. Money talks...

What a great night to be a Thistle fan seeing out and up and down year which ended with a bang. Merry Christmas to all and let's hope with we can bring in 2023 with another good win.
