  1. Good site, kept getting taken to a lot of dodgy sites though
  2. Looking forward to this. My mate has booked me in for Hospitality so we should be in good spirits for kick off on Saturday. Due to the league set up a tie against our main title rivals wasn't the draw I or a lot of Thistle fans wanted at the time. However here we are, and I think this could be another good game for us. The team showed a proffesional attitude against Livi and we got the result in the end. Not every player was at the top of their game but they all worked hard until the final whistle. The defense was well marshalled by Conrad and Shug provided a shield leaving Buzz little to do. What he did was pretty assured and I feel his confidence will improve game on game. Lot's of options for Jackie with Sinclair showing form after getting a run in the team and Bannigan putting in a solid display capped by a fine goal. Goals are coming from throughout the team and that is great for the fans. Upfront Doolanhino is working hard and was a bit unlucky not to nick one against the Lions. However SoJ and Guigsy will be vying for a place. Looking forward to this and if we continue with our level of performance we can be in the hat for the draw on Monday. Three more sleeps
  3. It's the Northy to me, but if the club can get a few quid for the naming rights, fair play. Don't see there being a big queue mind you. Maybe better approaching Glasgow Uni or something like that?
  4. Good point, I think their break-even figure for this season was 4,500. It had been 6,000 in the Sphell. No wonder they are in trouble financially in the short as well as the long term. I wish them no harm, but it is not hard to see they will have to cut their cloth.
  5. Decent performance, great win. A few players off their usual level of performance. O'Donnell and Erskine had a slow start but got into it. Same with Shug. Doolan worked hard but struggled a bit due to tight marking. Lawless had another stinker, imo. Great player for us this season, but would maybe be benched/rested if we had more options. Anyway overall happy with that. 7/10 performance. If we played like that last season we would be raving about it. Being a bit critical shows how far we have improved in a short time
  6. Was SoJ not signed when Doolaninho was injured?
  7. So was Shug Murray something to do with our collapse?
  8. Is one of the new team pics in next year's calendar?
  9. Good luck to Gareth, after Saturday of course. Wasn't too bad for us, but he was no Wayne Foster. Did he arrive with Davie Farrell in exchange for Ian Cameron?
  10. Braw. It's like being at a Braga game
  11. He wasn't in the one that appeared in the Evening Times today. Well done to all concerned to sitting/ standing in the wind and rain to get their picture taken. Mid-November is a bit late for team photos. Nice to see Craig and Forbes in the photo
  12. Officially its 16 years and upwards for various reasons.
  13. Anyone seen what they were on for? Reconstruction or have we signed a deal with Sky to show our silky skills?
  14. The proposals, which were recently approved by the 30 SFL clubs, will be presented and discussed at the SDS Annual Conference (25th November) and at an event in Glasgow (26th November) both as part of the SDS 'Fans Parliament' initiative. The Glasgow roadshow event in The Arches Theatre will also feature an illustrious panel of Tom Boyd, Pat Nevin and Gordon Smith. The event begins at 6pm and is open to all fans. Anyone wishing to attend are urged to register in advance by email to ‘[email protected] ’ with a note of the person attending’s name and date of birth. Entry is free. Full details of all events can be found at www.scottishfans.org. I am delighted they have approved it and I now look forward to sharing the vision behind it with the fans at these two unique events." The Annual Fans Conference is being held at the Falkirk Stadium on Sunday 25th November (9:30am start) and the full agenda is available by visiting www.scottishfans.org. The conference is open to all fans and tickets can be booked at a cost of £10 by visiting http://www.eventbrit...vent/4726622455 . All fans are urged to come and have their say on the future of the game in Scotland.
  15. Was up Park Circus/ Kelvingrove Park this morning about eleven. Noticed the floodlights from Firhill were on. Did we have a game? Was it for training? Or were the groundstaff doing work to get the match on?
  16. It's my birthday on my 30:th anniversary . I expect toosands of followers
  17. This. Was David Klein hopeless throughout his stint with the Jags?
  18. We need to grind it out a bit more on the road. Let the opposition come out at us and we have the players to punish teams on the break. Ross County did it to great effect last season and ended up with a record points total for this division. Easier said than done, I know. Let's entertain at home and get stuck in on our travels. That was a game we shouldn't be losing.
