  1. Thinking out loud, but was McNamara not looking to get Scully out on loan at the start of the season? Scully couldn't have done any worse than Dracula Smith last night. They had about one shot on target all night
  2. Almost 900 more than their previous best attendance this season. The crowd sounds similar to the Friday night game against Hamilton in January. Can anyone confirm?
  3. Doolan was too remote from the supporting attacking players. To be fair Erskine was shite in the first half as well. Tonight was like Falkirk, without the injury, a red card and a massive worry about the goalkeeping position.
  4. I hope Scully was unable to play, otherwise we have the situation where our reserve keeper is asked to step in because the manager signed a diddy who threw the ball in the net despite the opposition only having one shot on target.
  5. Enoch? No wonder they are mixed up kids···
  6. Coopers had plenty of space Glad you had a great day Banjo.
  7. Supposedly, Scully was injured in the warm-up. Small comfort with the doubts about Scully. Has anyone got David Klein's number?
  8. Third division shite still paying the second highest wages in the Scottish leagues? Hell mend them. The tick, the tock···
  9. Cold night, but I'm buzzing now. Few pints then train from Partick straight to Hamilton West. Jags win then a couple of night caps. Friday football is great
  10. McCann does a bit of media work as well so I assume he is at the Pars on a part-time consultant type basis. As Arch says he is good friends with Wor Jackie so shouldn't be an issue. A player of Stephen's age will benefit from first team football especially in a team playing great football. The win bonuses won't harm either. Success brings it own challenges and it would be fair for O'Donnell to expect better terms in his next contract. It's the nature of the game.
  11. Part time coach maybe, not assistant manager. Darren Jackson has been working with our strikers, but is not officially part of our coaching staff. Bottom line, I'd be surprised to see any of our team going to the Pars in the near future Poor souls are looking at a 40% of their wages being held back.
  12. http://www.dafc.co.uk/page/CoachesIndex/0,,10288,00.html You must be getting mixed up with Gerry McCabe PT
  13. Didn't know that. Don't see the Pars signing anyone soon anyway
  14. http://ptfc.co.uk/teams/senior/seasons/2012-2013/fixtures_results/1611_hamilton/preview Sounds like Banners will be back in the squad this evening Not great news about Welsh but we are well covered in midfield for now. Forbes seems to get better with each game. He's becoming a really vital player and has fitted in well. His goals and set piece deliveries have been a big improvement, imo.
  15. http://ptfc.co.uk/teams/senior/seasons/2012-2013/fixtures_results/1611_hamilton/preview Reading between the lines it would seem that McNamara would prefer to start Smith. All the best to whomever is between the sticks this evening.
  16. I think international clearance would affect both scenarios.
  17. Craig being allowed to play for us in the club would suggest he is not part of Derek Adams's plans. Out og contract with County in May so we may be able to get something sorted. O'Donnell's agent is Neil McCann so shouldn't be hard to deal with as long as we recognise his development and first team status. My main worry with our out of contract players is that they will be on lesser contracts than a lot of SPL clubs. However I don't see many clubs adding to their squads in January. On the other hand I'm sure Jackie has a list of contingency signings and the contacts within the game to replace any players that move on. I feel the management are key to our improvement. Our team is greater than the sum of the individual players and if a couple move on we will move on and even get stronger as a result. Rowson will be a bit part player and Archie may play less as he looks to concentrate on coaching. I think we should concentrate on getting the players with a potential sell on value signed up. Paton, Erskine, Doolan, O'Donnell, Fox and Forbes would be the priority from a footballing and financial viewpoints, imo.
  18. When does he get his place in the Scottish football hall of fame?
  19. I was wondering if his sueing of the SFA would prejudice his golden handshake?
  20. Eyes right, Foreskins tight, Bollocks to the front. We're the boys from Darlington, and we're only out for chunt.
