  1. I'm sure this game was highlighted on news at ten as Celtic slumped further into crisis. Made me proud to be a Jaggo It's got it all. Geordie Shaw goal. Tick. Craig Nelson wonder save. Tick. Peter Grant f*cking up in hilarious fashion. Tick. FtOF. Tick.
  2. Good build up but no goals, thankfully....
  3. What you got against Twinny? Clyde can move where they like, because The wheels on their house go round and round Gypos, Gypos..... An NVQ in candy floss making can get you a job anywhere in the world.
  4. Would there be a way to collect foreign currency coins a nd notes and get cash back for it? I was just away and came back with $12. Not worth exchanging but would be happy to donate to the club?
  5. Turned out to be an entertaining match. When Doolanihno and O'Donnell went off we seemed to lose any spark, until the late, late equaliser. First half we dominated possesion and kept the Bairns on the back-foot right up until their breakaway goal. It's a game of bawhairs as with a little more pace on the ball Dools should have scored from Sincalir's excellent cross. Imo this was Aaron's main contribution to the game. Thought he was a bit off the boil but kept plugging away. I was right up at the away end and couldn't tell if mcgovern got a hand to the header, but if he did it was a great save. Falkirk seemed to have decent players but created little going forward in the first half, one chance, one goal They were still sitting in during the second half but had more space to go forward. Jags shaded first half play and possesion but being a goal down that meant little at the time. We came out like a storm in the second. When we hit the post again I was thinking it wasn't going to be our day. But up stepped the Rowser to smash it home and go Radio Rental We were firmly on top and had a coupleof shouts for a penalty. We seemed to then lose a bit of steam and the double substitution took place. I would have been happy with one one at that point. Then Falkirk went on to equalise with a well struck but not unsaveable freekick. Game-over? Thankfully not. Despite Stewart passing up a great chance Erskine rescued a point at the end. Overall we seemed to be missing a little. We dominated possession but had little chances compared to recent home games. I think this was down to brown gloves having his team sitting in coupled with a switch to a more traditional 4-4-2. This is quite a defensive formation in the modern game imo. Still happy to get a point but was a game we should have and could have won. Fox was ok but didn't do well at either goal imo. PP distribution mediocre but got forward well and defended when required. Sinclair wasn't on fire today barring great chipped cross for Doolan's header that ended up off the bar. Hutton was class and stuck to his task well Conrad was ok overall but was all over the place for the opener Archie was decent but gave away free-kick for Falkirk's second goal. Cairney did some silly giving away of possession that could have cost us dearly. When not *****ing about he put in a great shift and was unlucky when pulled up for handball when clear on goal in the second half. A greatly improved player this season. Rowson had his best performance imo in quite a while. Great goal and great celebration. Think he's sponsored by Duracell. Doolan ran the channels and was unlucky not to score. Not on fire yet but just needs a break. Did as much as Farid imo Christie put in a good shift. Never got much service but kept going. O'Donnell was ghosting by Bairns for a good hour. Maybe final ball was a bit off today. I think we were just missing a spark today. Not sure what it was down to as effort and commitment was not an issue. Could have been the formation as the two forwards got very little service considering we must have had 60-65% of the ball. Falkirk will have mixed feelings. Would have taken a point before the game but then losing a late leveller to a team struggling to break them down must have been annoying. Good. Good game but felt like two points dropped overall. Not in the 95th minute right enough. All imo of course, and breathe......
  6. Good luck to Darren in his career. Starting in the US college system didn't do Davie Weir any harm We could do with a new franchise central defender so who knows what'll happen when he finishes his college career
  7. It'll be 159 in 85 by 5pm. 3-2 Thistle
  8. Thunderstruck ac/dc Banana Strips sound track was around for ages
  9. Here's one Didn't hang around Firhill long
  10. All I could find and I don't think he hung around much at Firhill
  11. Hi Marcus You can also get tickets at the foyer of the old main stand on Firhill Road G20 7Al for mapping purposes. Means you can nip in for a pint and then buy tickets and a programme and half draw tickets earlier then go for a pint. Less queueing than at kiosk. Some decent photos on wall but not much else at moment. here should be some Falkirk(Bairns) fans in there as well. I usually go to Coopers at corner of Park Road University. Can anyone think of any Crystal Palace playing links, i.e. former shared players?
  12. Are you making that up Ian?

  13. Indeed it does joejag It is abelter of a name, iconic I would say. In fact it's by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen.....
  14. Thanks for feedback one and all. So basically we're run better by this board but a negative vote on the articles could be problematic in running the club effectively e.g. choosing their own pie supplier. Did they expand on the consequences of the vote going against the boards' proposals or is this not the done thing?
  15. Why are we still Partick Thistle? Did we never think of changing, did some local team in Maryhill object to us taking the name? Answers, thoughts or opinions would be welcomed, thank you in advance.
  16. I only remember Geordie Shaw scoring. p.s. bloody tangerine bazzas, you've got watch out for them
  17. I wonder if any of the old politburo will be there?
  18. My first was 7 February 2-2 draw with K*ll*e in epic Scottish Cup run. (gutted it appears Dougie McNab was in goal, always thought I'd seen Roughie play for the Thistle, saw him for Scotland in 84). First league game was 0-0 with Hamilton Academical at Firhill in October 83. First away game was at Killie in mid to late 80s, we got beat 1-0.
  19. Did we not win the Scottish Cup in blue? I like the current strips, but the home one is far too Albion Rovers. Fat stripes for next change please with black shorts and red socks.
  20. Sorry if done before. Personally I'm a lot happier with this board than any since Save the Jags. At least they show a bit of ambition and realise if we don't speculate we will never accumulate. Don't know if there is any self interest plan with regards to Europa and Propco, but without the former we probably wouldn't exist. Funny how old board seem to hold the shares and thus the balance of power at the moment. Nice that their sit on your hands attitude could still lead to the club going down the basin..... Mon the Jags
  21. Will there be sausage rolls at half time?
  22. Was wondering if this would be open to the Greenockian diaspora, I assume it is?
