Weather For Saturday?

30 mph? more like 60mph winds apparently. Perhaps not an issue for the game necessarily but the A9 over Drumochtar might be a bit of a challenge.

Matches are rarely postponed for wind, exceptions perhaps being Arbroath due to proximity to the coast, or at Parkhead due to the shoddy construction and/or design of the ground.

A mild day at Gayfield. Great encouragement from the spectators!

Met office has 45mph gusts and around 25mph winds. Those figures are for exposed areas, Victoria Park is four sided and not that exposed, so the actual wind inside the stadium shouldn't be so bad. I'm more worried about the "feels like" of -5, I'll be wrapping up warm.

Quite a bit of snow falling in the Cairngorm region at the moment with fairly heavy showers forecast. The A9 could be a worry.

Hats off to anyone willing to take the gamble on a trip to Dingwall this weekend.

I was there this summer aftera few days hillwalking. Popped into the British Legion for a drink- about 10 guys at the bar who (at 4 o'clock in the afternoon) were so drunk they had ceased speaking and were just making random noises in lieu of actual speech which when they were all babbling at once was both surreal and hilarious.
