And who can remember the match at Shawfield when the referee was the only person in the ground that thought the ball went in the net through the goalposts awarding a goal to Clyde where everyone else, including the "Bully Wees Ballboys", saw the ball land on the net and fall through. The aforementioned ball boys even pointed at the hole in the net.

Always found it funny how much they hate us.

 

I suppose turned the other way round when we were in the same league they had four games to look forward to. Taking Celtic out the equation we're the effectively only club alongside Killie* that don't have a derby/traditional grudge match in the top league. In fact we're one of the few clubs that no longer really has an out and out derby type game even across the leagues. We lose out badly from that.

 

* Btw I really feel that our once bitter rivalry with them is just that, a thing of the past.

I'm sure an almost identical situation happened at Firhill against Airdrie in the early 70's. The jags of course being on the receiving end :mad:
