jagfaelivi
There are rules for some.... What was the difference between Squiddy's and McGregor's challenge? Nothing except that the Jags player got suspended for two games and the Celtic forward got a yellow card. Why do we have to put up with this nonsense? Last minute of the game, equally ill advised but the wee team suffers... Things will always be thus. Glad we know our place!
jagfaelivi
Forgot to say that the difference was that the Jag's player didn't make contact and the Celtic player did.
JeanieD
Plus the fact that McGowan didn't make a meal of it and feign injury
Weebaw1
I didn't realise Erskine hadn't made contact. If this is so, why did we not appeal? There was certainly no intent. And the Sevco player should be held to account for pretending to be injured.
eljaggo
There was contact but not with the raised foot. The contact as far as I could see was with the hip, was only glancing, and Erskine never touched the shin that the Sevco player grabbed to feign injury. High time that referees and their equally usless assistants are subjected to a much more rigorous appraisal, and more severe penalties imposed retrospectively for players that cheat and referees and their assistants who are found to be incompetent.
lithgaejag
It was erskine's knee that made contact.
jaggy
I read that Livy were 'baffled' by Bobby Madden's decision making on Tuesday night. Sounds exactly like us v Aberdeen
jaggy
Can anyone tell me why Elliot was booked on Tuesday? I saw the game on a small screen tv in a pub in Sweden with no sound, and couldn't understand what he was supposed to have done to merit a yellow card.
Lenziejag
What about those two tackles last night near the end. Christie's tackle at the dugout and then Well player(Fisher ?) shortly after - both much worse than Erskines. Yellow cards only.
