Jaggernaut
On another thread Paton and Boyle were mentioned as two guys who really do seem to be trying and who have upped their game recently. It's true that even when it doesn't go for them, neither of them hides. So, some praise for these two, at least.
lady-isobel-barnett
Agree, their work rate and attitude is spot on. Still infuriated with Paton's onefootedness but can't take anything away from his effort. It's also a pity they are both full backs and not wingbacks but that's not their fault. It just makes the system we play extra negative.

lennythistle
Yup. Â given paddy had such a terrible first season and looked to be away close season, would most be happy if he was offered new contract ? Probably been best player so far this season. Steven H
Paton still refuses to even try to take his man on and just lumps it in the general direction of the penalty box whenever he recieves the ball inside the opposition half. Frustrates the life out of me because he is capable of heading for the bye line, he either chooses not to or has been told not to

But to be honest, I'm not sure that he has the pace to get past a defender on the outside.
EKThistle
i think they been very good this year too. PB especially in recent weeks (taklings coming off). i always thought PP is more willing to stick a foot in when there is a man behind him and would prefer him to start right mid.
