Would be a massive coup, I believe having spent last season at a high standard Huddersfield team, and managing to play 25 games for them. He wants to sign for St Mirren but, as usual, Celtic are playing hard-ball over his release (Scott Fox knows all about that). Even if he is unable to negotiate his release, I would have thought Super Dan would take him on a season loan. Agree that it would be a very good signing, on paper. He hits a great free-kick. Seeing as you accurately predicted the signings of Stewart Greacen, Tom Brighton and Jim Thomson last summer, not to mention us getting Charnley in as assistant manager not too long ago and Rowson going to Stirling as a player/coach, I'm sure Carey will make a fantastic addition to the team. We now need to sign a right-sided defender for cover - probably Balatoni or similar player on loan. With a base midfield of Rowson, Cairney, Flannigan, Erskine plus youngsters Campbell, Bannigan and MacBeth, and Stewart able to play midfield too I don't think we'll see any new signings there - unless it's a right-sided defender who can also play midfield. Would think this is unlikely Looks like you're all missing the point. If Jeehon says someone is signing I'd say the chances of this happening will be very strong.
