The Sunnylaw Jag
I remember talking to Robert Reid about a new edition of the OH book some years ago, one in which all the spelling errors (players' names, typos etc.) could be corrected. He said it would cost a lot of money just to get the corrections made. But maybe now, 10 years later and with a lot of new history, the time is ripe. There could even be another subscription table. I noticed that Yore publishing have more or less retired form the printing more books but they do seem to have some of the Fourth reprint of the Jags book left. http://www.yore.demon.co.uk/Newsletter.pdf
lady-isobel-barnett
For reasons unknown I liked Frank Welsh late 70s or early 80s. Maybe because my nephew mentioned he was his school teacher I took more interest in him. Dunno? Recent seasons I so wished Scott Chaplain and Brown Ferguson were successful with us. Scott gave his all and so nearly made it. You could tell he was proud to play for us. Ferguson is a great pro, highly thought of in lower divisions, but couldn't make the step up to full time football
