uberteeb
Loads of filth in the ground today, dread to think how much we were paying them for Boxing Day overtime in return for them doing hee haw. I thought we were meant to be free from them?
Jaggernaut
Wasn't there today, but I too have been bemused by the notion that Firhill if devoid of polis on match days. Is what I usually see guys in fancy dress?
Collins Out!
I saw a few of them interrogating a couple of kids at half time.
uberteeb
I saw a few of them interrogating a couple of kids at half time. Yeah I saw that as well. Money well spent, those 8 year olds looked like animals.
northernsoul
I saw a few of them interrogating a couple of kids at half time. Yep, same here. They looked very bemused at the whole situation whilst showing the police they had nothing in their joggy bottom pockets. The three of them looked 12 at most. Very strange. Yes, the polis all look no older than 12 to me, too.
lennythistle
Just a guess but could the police (as I'm sure that's what their called) been at the game on Boxing day as we were sharing the Jackie Husband with the QOTS fans. I only saw 4 or 5 at the game, was there a lot more than that ?
Collins Out!
4 or 5 too many.
lennythistle
4 or 5 too many. So off duty police men and woman, who support us, they going to be referred to as filth too. Or scum or Nazi's ,as some of our support likes to call the police? Say there is 4 or 5 of them who go to games, is that 4 or 5 too many ? twinny
4 or 5 too many. Why? I would expect police at any gathering of a couple of thousand people. The police-free Firhill was a tagline; Beattie's comment at the time was that there would still be a police presence, just a much reduced presence. lennythistle
Jesus, hissy fit alert. Na, have some members of the family who are in the police force. One of them is also a Thistle supporter. Edited January 4, 2012 by lennythistle
ian_mac
IMO the club are left looking a bit daft here. Fair enough Beattie said it would be a reduced presence but the headline still read "POLICE FREE FIRHILL". This is definitely misleading
Ruchillnomore
Defo sounds like a hissy fit......are you really going to get upset by peoples names that they have for Police....is there any member of society that is not a member of your family,,,,,,,, I too know lots of Police and believe me some of them are nothing more than filth but then again thats a personal opinion after having spent a lot of time in their company. Remember its a forum and some posters experiences with the Police will not always be pleasant

Kirkie Jag
Na, have some members of the family who are in the police force. One of them is also a Thistle supporter. Do they go to the games? You must introduce them so we can all shout nazi's at them.
stoomac
I happen to know a couple of jags fans who are polis. They go to all games home and away. They have also helped out on occation when thistle fans didn't deserve it. You have probably bought them a pint!
