CUMBERNAULD JAG
Thought this quote might be of interest to those who have suggested on this thread that Thatcher was the darling of the loyalist cause: Griffin even closes by saying "We will not see her likes again. Thank God." Some of the other sh*** actually seems to thank her for personally defeating communism (?) but then blames her for immigration and just about every other ill to befall Britain. He even suggests that he personally had bloody knuckles after fighting the reds 'toe-to-toe' in the streets. The reds apparently got the upper hand but Thatcher sorted them out or words similar. Where does this guy get it from and does he love her or loathe her? Fact is that Thatcher's actions possibly extended the conflict and acted as recruiting sergeant for the republican cause. But I guess this thread will die out as the last post plays... How can she be the darling of the Loyalist cause when she signed the Anglo Irish agreement????? Not once was it suggested/said on here that she was so stop making things up please. For the record Nick Griffin is a total ******* *** *** ***** **** you can fill in the blanks Edited April 18, 2013 by CUMBERNAULD JAG
crazy davie
http://www.thecommen..._and_the_miners hmmmmmmmm!!!! I can't stand the Tories and I would vote for Al Quaeda before I voted for them, but all this bollox about MT destroying the mining industry does my nut in. Being a miner is the worst job on earth and we should rejoice that those people don't have to do it any more. I'd like to know who on this forum would condemn a man to be a coal miner.
Meister Jag
I do know this is a Thistle forum and if you thinking i was peddling out "Loyalist shite" then i think you need to wind your neck in a bit and stop being so touchy. And no i wont apologise for making a joke How can she be the darling of the Loyalist cause when she signed the Anglo Irish agreement????? Not once was it suggested/said on here that she was so stop making things up please. For the record Nick Griffin is a total ******* *** *** ***** **** you can fill in the blanks For once I agree with you. Now who's being touchy? Pots, kettles and black mate... Why have you jumped in with that post? But let's be clear, the Bobby Sands chicken supper jibe / joke did suggest loyalist sympathies. Other comments on Thatcher suggested some sympathy on a political level (which as I've said before is your business). Also, please remember, I'm not talking about dancing on an old woman's grave, more what she did for the country and her role in Northern Ireland. If you read comments to your posts I think you'll find that I'm not the only one that has gained this impression. But in fairness, I think you've outlined where you're coming from - you're not a loyalist and you have no time for the BNP (I tried to fill in the blanks but I'm stumped); so no issues this end. Just a bit shocked by your post as I was expecting you to react - not that I'm suggesting that you've been abusive or anything; thought I'd add that as I've clearly hit the wrong buttons! The Nick Griffin bollocks was put on to show his utter contempt for your beloved Thatcher and to suggest that all who drape themselves in red, white and blue sometimes aren't being patriotic for the right reasons. But at no time did I aim my comments at you in person. Had I wanted to do this I'd have quoted you and then followed up the post; this is a discussion of sorts. So please take a deep breath and calm down...

The Mighty Quinn
scottish people are stupid. they slag thatcher but they don't see the bigger picture. Everytime scotland has went into a recession, it's been the back end of a labour govt. labour spend outwith their means, right over their budget and put the country in peril. They always get elected out coz they're sh1t. the tories get voted in at their back and have to cut all these ridiculous avenues that labour make. tories have to cut cut cut because the money isnt there. they're realists. And any commie beatnik that greets about the pits or stealworks shuttin, they industries were on their arse because we got priced out by the third world, and thatcher done as a pleasure when she shut them because if she hadn't, the country wid be about 20 times worse than it is just now, subsidisin industries that aren't productive

Blackpool Jags
Thanks to the enlightenment from which I've just benefitted, courtesy of recent posts eulogising Thatcher, I now consider the demise of Mrs T not to have been in vain. Her passing, and the attendant plethora of sage recollections of her time in power, have served as my virtual road to Damascus and, as a direct consequence, I now recant a lifetime of futile campaigning for fairness and equality; I now fully accept that God created, as our habitat and environment, a jungle within which we should aspire to rip,one another's faces off in the quest for a bit more dosh than the next geezer. It's dog eat dog out there and that's how it's meant to be guv - no point in trying to fight it. I am a Tory; we are all Tories. Thatcher is dead, long live Thatcher.

Forget Manpreet, we are all Margaret Thatcher! Neo-liberalism is clearly the way forward. Why oh why have I been missing this for so many years. There will always be inequality so let's just keep it that way - step over the poor, the sick, the unemployed. It's really that simple.
