David Stevenson
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24470141 I don't think many would argue with the bulk of his viewpoint. But on here, you never know.....

Jaggernaut
McLean's one of the small number of BBC Scotland football folk who talk sense. Richard Gordon is another.
peagreenboy
Cutting insight there, someone should make sure that Archie reads it. Shame he doesn't suggest how "a newly-promoted team with a modest budget" go about fixing the problem ... but then, those who can, do, and those who can't, commentate. stillresigned
For a change a BBC Scotland, that's thouthful considered, isn't patronising, doesn't mention Sevco and most importantly isn't written by Chick Dung.
Jaggy1967
Agree with all of the above, it was refreshing to read an article eminating from the BBC that isn't full of inaccuracies and old firm pish. Is this a turning point ? Will Chick Dung think this is the way to go lol ? Doubtful, I am sure we will quite correctly be back to BBC bashing quite soon. Guy Incognito
They are setting up a new academy at Partick Thistle. Maybe they should think about a finishing school as well. It's becoming increasingly frustrating for the Firhill faithful that the flowing football they're enjoying is more often than not minus an end product... ...The maddening thing, though, for , manager Alan Archibald his players and the supporters, is that their points total could and should be considerably better at this stage. Couldn't have put it better myself.
